Typical - I KNEW that would happen - check in and then get voted. Spent yesterday and this morning catching up. Made some notes too. Was on the road working and wanted to check in and make my presence felt as I wasn't able to earlier in the week for work reasons and cause I've got friends visiting. Anyway am up to speed now. My point was that the pressure we did have on D1 was random in my opinion but at least we were going somewhere - although I thought people were taking some of the pressure too seriously as we don't know anything yet. Sure enough I check in and get voted. Still it's all info as far as I'm concerned. I wasn't skating under the radar, I was waiting to catch up b4 speaking up as I was away Mon and Tue. Looks like we're v close to the deadline from what people say. Wait a minute - it's 1st July. That's ok we've still got a couple of days and I promise to be active now. Will chip in again later with a better analysis of what I think is going on. One thing is for sure - I laughed my ass off as I was catching up.

btw - the players who have played with me (esp Daz and Epi) can vouch for the fact that I'm v active normally - sometimes a bit over-active.

Voting for quiet players is always a very easy option for scum btw. If the player doesn't respond then I agree they should eventually get voted out as they're not gonna help town anyway, but that's not the case here - I already checked in to say hi and then with a mini FOS and soon will add some comments. I have played with pershy a time or two, but it's too early for me to judge whether he's scum or not. 2 days might not even be enough for us to get a claim out of persh if people don't check in, much less anyone else.

Although I'm not sure whether or not he is scum, I think he's a better lead than the Vodeon or yamiel "cases", if you can call them that.

No but I had to quickly skim 11 or 12 pages this morning in a ten minute break to try and get into the game. I posted - then came home and posted then went out and positing again now. Haven't had time to go into the cases yet and properly and add my twopence which I'm hoping to do tomorrow now as it's late here - but looks like this attention on me is gonna distract everyone from what was going on before.

So....I'll answer what I see as a BS case from Zim - no offence buddy - it's probably a genius agressive mafia tactic and call it a night. there is not really a case against yomiel. we voted him because hes yomiel. i joked around for too long, and people thought that was scummy. whatever. building a case on that is scummier than any of the other cases at the time, but i couldnt say so because thats OMGUS, and then i look even scummier. ive got my eyes on spiesr and yomiel. but mostly shield. as i recall, he was the initial leader.

could we get an updated VC, including unvotes? im too tired to go back even 1 page since almost every post has a vote, but i think im safe voting pershy (not lynching him i mean). I am usually v vocal and active in mafia (more so as town obviously) and that's what I intend to be this game. I'll prob get lynched though and town'll lose an inquisitive townie. OK - Zim is agreeing with Neb. Now the way things are going I'll probably be forced to claim. I'm ok with that but to be honest it's not in town's interests if I do on D1. When I first saw this I thought , but now in context I think it's majorly scummy. Neb was trying to find an easy lynch, sewed the seed and then made a BS case. On the contrary I was erring on caution before - that's why I posted the way I did early on. I am usually quite a cautious townie. But I think Neb is an aggressive mafia player. I don't have much to go on, but I think it's better than other cases that have been presented. Get behind me on this. If I'm right then I'll be cleared hopefully on D2 and if not I'll happily face the music.

I think Vodean's case is fairly good, but pershy's rebuttals do seems logical, I'm not afraid of a bit of WIFOM on day one.

well, the way i interpret the quote (you 'knew' that would happen, which obviously means that you thought about the consequences before you posted, the only reason one would think about the consequences of not hiding versus hiding is if someone actually has something to hide, hence, you had a motive to fly low, otherwise you wouldn't even consider it, making previous quote totaly invalid). Also, can you point me one constructive post you made before the one i'm currently quoting? also, what debate are you talking about? i can't recall you, or anyone else for that matter leading a serious non-joke case on anyone.

No - I was busy for those 2 days - that's why I had to do it in my 10 minute break. Didn't have time to post anything significant either but at least I got up to speed - although I have to go over some of it because I need to read it with more attention.

Well as I say I have to go back. There were a couple of things that stood out...but nothing as much as what I'm seeing now.

you're being quite vague all this time, as if things are buried 50 pages deep and you have to dig your way through all of your notes from previous scenes, night actions and statements. post something specific or don't claim you have any information you don't have. sometimes you say more by saying less, this is such a case. you are trying not to say too much, or so it seems, but the very fact that you are seemingly trying to say as little as you can get away with is a strong indication that you may be trying to hide something.

When I first saw this I thought , but now in context I think it's majorly scummy. Neb was trying to find an easy lynch, sewed the seed and then made a BS case. On the contrary I was erring on caution before - that's why I posted the way I did early on. I am usually quite a cautious townie. But I think Neb is an aggressive mafia player. I don't have much to go on, but I think it's better than other cases that have been presented. Get behind me on this. If I'm right then I'll be cleared hopefully on D2 and if not I'll happily face the music.
