I didn't mean to double post.

Anyways, vote jonty.

Saf makes a good point. Why were you rolefishing? I have used the term "pro-town hero" before. My point wasn't that I AM the pro-town hero. My point is that there are many reasons I would not care who I lynched, being trigger-happy isn't the only one.

I don't remember you using the term "pro-town hero", and when I read the post I felt you were softclaiming. Softclaiming, isn't good for anyone so I wanted more info.

mmmm, I haven't played in a while, so my meta is going a bit dull, time to start grinding it!
I'll need help from readers like you *points towards the screen*.
So, Doom's our designated scummy dude right?
One thing I've learn from playing with Vodean (if you're reading this, I'm just kidding, miss you! <3 :P ) is that these types are either scum, or will drag down their own team faster than a boat made entirely of anchors. Regardless of the situation, lynching them is the right thing to do.

SOOOOO a good vet should know what pieces are useful, and which one's are? Why the strong ones of course! if doomyoshi picked some uber strong role like a yoshi of doom, it's hard to sacrifice him. (HAhahaha... ahhhh)

OR, he might be town, and it could be a good strategy to buddy him illogically.
I dunno, I'm just throwing around a really long ramble here, geez!

I'm just curious how Doom has edoc, aage, and saf all going after folks who are after him, it really sets off my specially tuned sixth sense that always lets me know everything in the fridge has expired after a long vacation.

Now for the viewer portion of our show, where you scrutinize the situation so I don't have to!

1.Is it in edoc's meta to give someone a free pass for their continual scumminess?
2. Is it in aage's meta to want to lynch someone for not making their own role (GASP! that's just like every other mafia game ever!) regardless of their potential usefulness/alignment etc.
2 and a bonus! He also defended a guy who said "I don't care who we lynch" because he doesn't like who called him on that statement.
3.Is it in safari's meta to... do whatever it was that he did. (I don't really feel any scum vibes here, feel free to make your own though.)

SO, yeah, I'm going to reflect on this for a little bit, because I'm soo not impulsive. (Bwahahahaha....)

I think edoc, saf, aage etc. realize that my MO is to get day 1 rolling. While nobody can predict what I will do, the game will start once I figure it out.

Can I just say that I really enjoyed /'s post? I read it in a Drew Carey "Who's line is it anyways" voice in my head.

I too agree that his post was highly entertaining. He may have a post restriction and be that character on another note :P.

I agree with the post restriction, although I doubt he's Drew Carey. Don't believe I remember him asking the home audience for help. He asked for suggestions. Plus I think he would have made the classic WLIIA entrance, and would have mentioned points :P

But if he is, i'll make sure to make a fat joke (Even though he's skinny now :()

I don't believe you went about asking him to clarify in the right way. Why on earth would he softclaim so early into the game? I thought he was just using it as, well, as a figure of speech.
I agree that Doom's idea is bad, but to assume that he is scum for the same shit he always pulls is bad.

Serious vote time now. Unvote Vote strike
I have not yet played a game with any of you before. So my meta with you guys is at 0.
Giving doom a pass for a bad idea, as / put it, is an even worse idea.

Voting strikewolf for questioning the bad idea is also a bad idea.

Therefore

vote edocsil

It's kind of hard for me to judge you guys, since most of you have obviously played a lot of games together, giving you guys reads on the others play. This "rolefishing" between doom and yoshi is an example of that.

Stuff like
I have used the term "pro-town hero" before.
or
So this Doom we are talking about. We all knew he was going to make that sort of D1 comment, its his typical MO, being impatient D1. There is also a lot of precedent for him voting AWOL players.
is no knowledge I possess.

You might want to take it on faith or look it up yourself in older games then Stubbs. As is you vote looks pretty lazy. There is a lot of precedent for a Doom lynch turning into a retarded witch hunt and wasting a day.

Hmmmm, breaking the 4th wall, sinister laughs... I don't have any characters who come to mind that fit that description but it sounds like a cartoon character.

Somehow I didn't interpret that laugh from / as "ominous". Maybe it's just hard to convey tone through a forum post.

Don't have enough evidence to support it but it kinda reminds me of Stanley Spadowski from UHF. Talking like he's on TV but lots of giggling and laughing. Idk.

It wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility that / has a PR (self-inflicted or not) but I don't think we should look into it too much

Or people learn to get a better read on people. Either one.

Still think Jonty should be lynched. Especially now that we've been doing near nothing for two pages again. (Except for someone voting Edocsil, like that's gonna happen.) It is obvious to me that you guys seem to value Doom's mention of "pro-town" hero very highly, but you really are reading way, way, way too much into it. I suggest you look at the ball named Jonty he tossed straight at us, rather than complain about his aim.

Okay, I'll ride this train. vote jonty

For:
1. trying to end joke vote early.
2. reading into Doom's post too much (reading that he softclaimed...)
3. I just don't like his general vibe in his posts.

Weak, yes...but what the heck, it is D1.
