I don't remember you using the term "pro-town hero", and when I read the post I felt you were softclaiming. Softclaiming, isn't good for anyone so I wanted more info.DoomYoshi wrote:I didn't mean to double post.
Anyways, vote jonty.
Saf makes a good point. Why were you rolefishing? I have used the term "pro-town hero" before. My point wasn't that I AM the pro-town hero. My point is that there are many reasons I would not care who I lynched, being trigger-happy isn't the only one.
well you sure got day 1 going.DoomYoshi wrote:I think edoc, saf, aage etc. realize that my MO is to get day 1 rolling. While nobody can predict what I will do, the game will start once I figure it out.

I too agree that his post was highly entertaining. He may have a post restriction and be that character on another notesafariguy5 wrote:Can I just say that I really enjoyed /'s post? I read it in a Drew Carey "Who's line is it anyways" voice in my head.
I agree with the post restriction, although I doubt he's Drew Carey. Don't believe I remember him asking the home audience for help. He asked for suggestions. Plus I think he would have made the classic WLIIA entrance, and would have mentioned pointsnew guy1 wrote:I too agree that his post was highly entertaining. I don't believe you went about asking him to clarify in the right way. Why on earth would he softclaim so early into the game? I thought he was just using it as, well, as a figure of speech.jonty125 wrote:I don't remember you using the term "pro-town hero", and when I read the post I felt you were softclaiming. Juggernaut? Might be a stretch...sheepofdumb wrote:Hmmmm, breaking the 4th wall, sinister laughs... I don't have any characters who come to mind that fit that description but it sounds like a cartoon character.

Until DoomYoshi wises up and adjusts his playstyle to avoid such scenarios he will be a detriment to his team...edocsil wrote:There is a lot of precedent for a Doom lynch turning into a retarded witch hunt and wasting a day.

I agree, we can easily misinterpret tone in a forumsafariguy5 wrote:Somehow I didn't interpret that laugh from / as "ominous". Maybe it's just hard to convey tone through a forum post.
Or people learn to get a better read on people. Either one.spiesr wrote:Until DoomYoshi wises up and adjusts his playstyle to avoid such scenarios he will be a detriment to his team...edocsil wrote:There is a lot of precedent for a Doom lynch turning into a retarded witch hunt and wasting a day.

For:
1. trying to end joke vote early.
2. reading into Doom's post too much (reading that he softclaimed...)
3. I just don't like his general vibe in his posts.
Weak, yes...but what the heck, it is D1.
