what value does life or even to be more vulgar time have if you spend all of it in the rather mundane thing that is often work? far few of us do what it is we really want to do, and if you are such a person then i congradulate you. But assuming your job isnt everything you ever wanted to be, why begrudge someone for those 5 minutes? you arent likely to be fired for it, especially given that the time has been set aside if you filled some type of grievance.

Muslims must pray 5 times a day, it is part of their religion. My breaks at work are two 15 minutes and a half hour for lunch...that is 1 whole hour of free time. Muslims just exchange this time to make Salaat. I am not offended by it...you are just bashing Muslims right now. Muslims do not get any more time than anyone else. The time is fairly exchanged, and if you want to be a Muslim, it would be fairly exchanged for you as well. I don't see what your beef is on this matter.

And Muslims are asked to find a private place to pray, so as they do not offend others. The normal Salaat only takes about 5 minutes to complete.

I can see the point also if this is such the case, but I do not believe it is. Salaat during your normal working hours would only be 5 or 10 depending on your work schedule. And if you are late making Salaat or are unable for some reason, Allah is All Merciful and Most Understanding and whatever other 101 names you can think of. Islam permits making up your Salaat, but it is preferred that you try to make them at the appointed times.

If I was a Muslim I would make my five minute Salaat and take that time out of one of my breaks. If it was ten minutes I would take it out of my breaks as well. But there would be no way that my Salaat would be lasting over an hour! That is absurd, and it doesn't happen.
