While the town was bickering, a message was broadcast over the entire town. The town was unaware of the source and messenger, but a message was clearly audible.

Lord Voldemort is a Town avenging roleblocker/mason.

The message disappeared as soon as it arrived.

Interesting...what's an avenging roleblocker?

And could he possibly have roleblocked himself?

I can't figure out what an avenging role blocker is...
i believe xg specially created the role for this game, so it may neither be townie or scum

and ga7, as for my quarrel, i can assure you that had nothing to do with game events/lovo's night action

well that sucks...avenging thing means if town player dies i get a kill
ill hold on my name and stuff....as for who i blocked..i wont say cause i think he has a decent power role...and may be yoshi.

if you actually had blocked yoshi somehow i doubt you could have ended in a egg and lost your vote for today.

Sam looks fishy, editing twice and now wanting to be replaced. I'd be happy with his lynch also, but I'm still convinced I was spot on with my cult theory so meh

I think whoever is Yoshi is a cop/roleblocker (maybe one time use?, not sure). Because when Yoshi takes in somebody via egg attack, it prevents you from attacking for a bit, and then when the egg pops you find out who's inside.

How else would you explain LoVo's role being revealed right after him getting "trapped" in an egg?

It sounds to me like somebody here is a day cop who can (or has to) anonymously release their results. They likely investigated LoVo because of the whole sewer stuff. However, since this power gives this day cop a lot of freedom, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't sane.

Heh... it was amusing reading through and watching you guys fall for the lyncher... one of many reasons that the "if you're wrong, we'll lynch you tomorrow. We're guaranteed scum either way" line of thinking is a very bad way to play. Don't trust someone just because they're willing to stick their neck out.

I have a couple of minor suspects, but I'm not going to talk about them quite yet just because I'm very tentatively suspicious, and don't want to start a debate over something (potentially leading to a bad bandwagon) until I'm a little more certain.



The egg thing is definitely Yoshi, but the sewer thing really confuses me.

...a gush of rancid sewage. The water was yellow, filled with newly dead rats. Lord Voldemort came out of his house, stuck in an egg.

The scene makes it sound like it's not two separate things that happened to him (the egg and the sewage). So I'm inclined to think that either the sewage and the egg are related somehow, or one of these things was self-inflicted somehow.

they heard an incredible explosion coming from Lord Voldemort's house

that's how it happened... so perhaps the sewage was just released by the explosion... but now we're still trying to figure out what would cause an explosion.

So trying to outguess the scene fails for now, until we get more information.

Honestly I hate to offer this suggestion but theres only one way to find out if the day cop (if that's what the person is) is sane or not is to vote for whoever he says is scum/not sucks in case were wrong but through the games i've played thats almost a surefire way to find out if their sane or not

...Well, I say that we ignore these messages. We can't distinguish between who or what is saying them, and they contradict each other. So unless we already know LoVo's alignment, then there's no way we can tell which is telling the truth.

yes but how will we know it unless he gets voted or night killed?
the only way we can know is if he tells us..but i mean thats not ALWAYS reliable

Exactly. So there is absolutely nothing we can do about the messages. They tell us nothing, and we can learn nothing about them. That was my point.

If LoVo's mason revealed himself then it would maybe suggest to us that LoVo really is a mason.

But if LoVo is a Godfather, then one of his goons could claim to be his mason partner.

Besides, we don't know if either of those mysterious announcements are true. Since it's obvious that at least one of them are false, then they could both be false. Or could be partially true. Which means that they narrow down the possibilities... not at all.
