my 64 has some trouble with cartridges starting properly but they all work after a minute or two...P Gizzle wrote:i bought the gamecube, and i've never cleaned, accidentally left it on during a 7 day vacation and it still works, fine, with the once a month, have to turn it off, and turn it back on again problem, which isnt much considering i still havent had a problem w/ my N64
Aside from Mario party Nintendo are not known for making games that are all the same.Caleb the Cruel wrote:All three systems cost way too much for my blood.
If the actual system costs over $100 then there's no way I'll buy it. Then on top of that, I refuse to pay more than $30 for a game, and most games nowadays cost around $50. Hell, I'm too much of a tightwad that I won't buy premium on CC! But Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are ripping off American video-gamers, making amazing profits. And the games that are coming out are not as good as everybody says, they are all the same thing! We don't need 20 different fighting games, we don't need 20 different football games, because they are all the same!!!

And most consoles are sold at a loss, with profits made on games, at least from what I remember when the last generation of consoles were being released.
You do understand that the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, and N64 cost more than that at launch right?Caleb the Cruel wrote:All three systems cost way too much for my blood.

Oh, you meant fans charging the players, not the other way around or umpires getting jumped by drunk fathers at little league games.sfhbballnut wrote:since when have referees or ever needed serious medical attention after a game at any of those, when the injury was a direct assault and not incidental? and when has a crowd torndown a fence to get at the field?
