I like this newest version best, but I think you may need to find different small images to use. The new compass is much better.

I have as you can see from the amendments I implemented. You said you would give me your feedback as well a couple of days ago. I haven't been getting any more feedback from other members for the past day.AndyDufresne wrote:Listen to those around you,

Perhaps I will make a poll about which borders to use as well at a future stage. Thanks for your input Keyogi.KEYOGI wrote:I'm not sure about the variety of impassable borders. Maybe it would be best to just stick to one style. My vote would be the circles, they seem to be most fitting with the rest of the map.
Thanks for your support hulmey! I don't know why Andy said I haven't been listening to people around me because I have...hulmey wrote:come on andy...Think this map is ready for play. Poll also shows that people want borders how they are!!
Hehe. They seem they aren't maybe but I can assure you they are! They have the same properties.Wisse wrote:in the legend not all the shapes are the same some look round and others not
I think he meant that he doesn't need to respond because you're getting all the advice you need already. That's how I understood it anyway.Ruben Cassar wrote:I don't know why Andy said I haven't been listening to people around me because I have...
Hmm, that's a new one. I made the link because in real life there is a ferry link. However in earlier posts I was asked to add the links between Malta and Ghawdex and not reduce them. I don't think that would be a popular choice...what do the others think about this anyway?boberz wrote:i think there should be no link betweent the territories kummuna and cirkerra it would make gameplay harder. If somebody gets a good deployment at the start then thay can win immediately
Yes, I think I will try that.Guiscard wrote:Perhaps make the small images more transparent? or layer them under the blue so the look more like part of the background?
I think that at the moment the linkws are at the just right amount . this is one of the most complete maps in the foundry . you should DEFINITELY get this map up and running . i would really enjoy this map . and some of the bonus ideas are really good .Ruben Cassar wrote: Hmm, that's a new one. look at this, some look much rounder than others:Ruben Cassar wrote:Hehe. They seem they aren't maybe but I can assure you they are! They have the same properties.Wisse wrote:in the legend not all the shapes are the same some look round and others not

okRuben Cassar wrote:Wisse that's strange. I guess I will check their properties again. I promise I will make them round.
it's the stiltedness of the poll. A fair question would have beenRuben Cassar wrote:Thanks for your support hulmey! Well, I think what can be done is this. I will leave the borders as they are as the majority voted for them to stay. However once the map is live I will open a thread again where people who have actually played the map can voice again their opinion on how to fine tune it and if people say they prefer more borders I can easily add them at a later stage. What do you think?qeee1 wrote:it's the stiltedness of the poll. A fair question would have been
Should I add more impassable borders:

Ask some high ranking (colonel or better) flat rate player (who'll have a good idea of the strategies involved in Risk), and see what they think.
Graphically the new map looks brilliant btw.getting rid of the photographs really did the job.
