The Cowboys have a lot of potential, but also have a few things to work out
which isn't a bad thing. If they get it together and start hitting on all cylinders?
Watch out!
Thankyou Atlanta for Keith Brooking, he's a great addition to the team.

Broncos go to Washington and get skinned extending their losing skid to three in a row. It's obvious now that the Vikings made the best deal this off season picking up Farve as it now appears all they lacked was experience at QB.

I do not believe what I just watched. Not only did the Pats give away a win at Indy, but the clock management at the end of the game, and then going for it on 4th and 2 from their own 28, with 2 minutes to play?! COME ON! I know Belichick is a genius and all, but everyone is questioning that call. I'm just stunned.

Doesn't Belichick look a little like Oliver Stone. Must be the drugs. Or Belichick had no faith at all in his defense. Probably the latter.

It's quite amazing how close that play was and that a juggled reception was the deciding factor in retaining possession for the Pats.

I enjoyed the fact the Packers actually won a tough game instead of falling apart :D Now there is still a chance, no matter how slim [-o<

I don't care what the "Experts" say. Going for it was the correct decision.

1) The PAtriots defense has been soft all season late in the game.
2) Peyton Manning is shredding them and would have driven down the field from anywhere
3) Belichek put the ball and the game in his best player's hands (Brady)

It was unconventional and not by the "book" but it was the best decision.

I love these kinds of games when it comes to Bellychick. Whenever he blows it like that he barely has the ability to shake the opposing team's coach. True to form, I think his handshake lasted .000000578th of a second after the game.

The Belichick method: upon losing a game, run as fast as possible to the opposing coach and grab their hand quickly and release it even more swiftly. Under no circumstances do you make eye contact. Run away as fast as possible so as to avoid any meaningful conversation or sportsmanship. Rarely say "good game", and almost never acknowledge that the other coach made better decisions than you did.

Well the Pats were certainly ready for the Colts and played a helluva a game at Indianapolis. Without the goal line fumble recovered for a touchback this game wouldn't have been decided in the final minute. I liked the decision to go for it and maintain possession as there was certainly plenty of time remaining for Peyton Manning to drive the Colts from anywhere on the field.

Some skeptics will say it showed a lack of confidence in the New England defense, but I feel Belly was confident in the offense getting it done. Had that 4th down pass completion been snatched out of the air instead of bobbled this would be an entirely different discussion.

A virgin & volcano combo is recommended or maybe a rabbit's foot stew will do in a pinch.

So, Jay Cutler would appear to have thrown 3 passes without throwing an interception. Somebody should start making him a medal.

edit: Cutlerfucker.

Well Jay finished the night with an INT, but worse than that
he overthrew 3 open receivers that would have been 2 TDs.

OHMIGAWD.

I just watched the Browns/Lions highlights and that was pretty awesome. Maybe both the defenses just sucked pretty badly but it was great

Well, yeah. He's not a good person. Hell of a good football coach (I don't think it's heavily disputed that he's the best there is, right now) but, even in a rather soulless profession, he is well below the bar. I actually thought 4th and 2 was a decent choice given the context (the colts offense going buck-wild on the pats defense) and consider the fact that nobody ever tries to convert 4th and short to be indicative of the great power of groupthink in NFL coaches.

Very happy. Pissed me off because the game wasn't on tv, so I had to watch it online on the NFL Live network and they were horrible. They were at commercial during key plays
