Please God let the scouse bastards win 3-1 tonight, sending it into extra-time, let the two sides kick lumps out of each other giving them both a long list of injuries and suspensions for the rest of the season!
Doesn't actually matter who wins as Barca will piss on either of 'em in semi's anyway...
ps:

What? You've more reason for envy 'cos you live nearer? No excuse for jealousy jippo!

Why would you need that to happen if Utd are so much better than everyone else. Barcelona will piss all over everybody on the way to winning this year. Utd included, assuming you beat Porto of course.

Oh dear...you have a lot to learn about what football really means. Dont ever mistake my animosity towards Utd for envy. I could easily have been a Utd supporter, but I was born in the area, so that counts me out.

Good luck to Porto for tomorrow night......

lol fair enough, Barca probably will win the whole thing, no argument there but I can still dream.
I'm a Salfordian but somehow everyone expects me to be from London or somewhere when I say I'm a Utd fan, oh well...

Fuckin hell what a game, I can't imagine if i actually supported one of the teams. I was really hoping Liverpool would come back at the endhad they won I reckon it would have been the best game of all time.

Phew! Was on tenterhooks near the end but thankfully United made it through, just... Cracking strike from Ronaldo, prob his best goal, apart from that cheeky backheel last season.
Bring on the Gunners!

You need to improve if you want to get to roma. On your form at the moment any decent team will at least cause you real harm.

Too true Samwell, too true. Still seem to be getting there though, plodding along.
Playing Arsenal 3 times in a month's gonna be tough, no question.

never call me a Manc, Salfordian. older than Manchester. :D

anyway, been away all weekend.

Man City 2 Hamburg 1 (agg 3-4)

i thought we played really well. Elano hit the bar and post with free-kicks. Robinho should of done better with his effort. i thought Caicedo play well(better than Ched Evans against Fulham). still we went out. :(

Hibernian 2 Rangers3 :D

Whittaker, Velicka, Edu.

Man City 4 West Bromwich Albion 2 :D

Robinho, Onuoha, Elano, Sturridge.

good win as WBA had more chances, corners and were the better team. still looks like they are going down.

You may find it funny, but im proud. We didnt have to spend 100m to get where we are, we built our success from humble beginnings in a pub and have always been sucessful. Our founders had to get together to afford a ball, and yet we have always won things, and we will again. You simply had an oil tyrant who, allegedly, employed people to scare (or more) off his rivals for buying it. Im proud that we still dont buy success, we trust kids with dreams, hopes and ambitions, not over paid nancy's who say they almost "crashed their car" when they heard that they were offered "only £55,000 a week." Wait till FA bring in the rule about clubs in debt being banned from europe, who will be laughing then? Arsenal, aston villa, everton and man city, thats who. We havent spent half a billion we cant afford, and soon, your owner wont be able to afford with his ever shrinking wallet. I hope when Barcelona beat you, you realise you were beaten by a team with real history, not an over generous bank and a suspicious owner.

We may have lost, but im proud of our kids, and proud of the fact it took you 83mins to beat a team with 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and a striker, all out injured. We may not be the best team in the land, but we are the last english team in the top four.......................Did you just think "but you have no english players!" Well think again, inside our squad we have: Keiron Gibbs, Gavin Hoyte, Jack Wilshire, Jay-emmanuel Thomas, Mark Randall, Henri Lansbury, Theo Walcott, Jay Simpson (plus the welsh Aaron Ramsey)

Some of those are out on loan admiteddly, but they have all made first team appearances and are all being preparred for, hopefully, a life time at the club. I have to admit, im very excited about Gibbs, Wilshire, Randall, Lansbury, Walcott, Ramsey and simpson.

You misunderstood him, he meant that that you, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Everton will be laughing because they are not in debt.

Although to me that doesn't make sense, as Aston Villa have being spending by the bucket load and I thought this rant was against the super cash teams like City :?

But I have to agree you do a very good job without spending cash, although I think a lot of that is down to Wenger and like I said it will be intresting to see what happens when he leaves. Will they start spending millions or continue to try and bring through youngsters?

joke taken from the mirror...

Q; What is the difference between Alan Shearer and Newcastle United?

A; Shearer will be on match of the day next season

i saw that too, made me choke on my toast.

and yes pmc, thats what i meant, but city may be spending, but they arent in debt, so they will also cash in when the law comes in, which it looks like it will, prolly in 3 years or so if reports are to be beleived.
