F400 Clan Ranking - Needs Repair

I know August comes out soon, but just fixing hte links to July since Photobucket screwed it up. The process to transfer old F400 rankings is going to take forever cuz photobucket has so many damn ads now its almost impossible for me to download old ones...

ACE war ended 8-31-2016 so by next ranking that'll fall off. But they haven't beaten anyone higher ranked than ACE was at the time (in a war) since then

I personally have a tough times a #1 who hasn't got a Top 5, and a #2 that doesn't have a decently ranked victory in 11 months (in a war).

S&M got their ranking from their ridiculously good closing in CL and maybe RL (I don't follow RL).

S&M will either beat us in this war, or drop. I don't think anyone will argue that either.

Its very early but it feels close so I don't think it will be a big move one way or the other, but that could change.

You do specify "in a war", but taking into account overall performance I think S&M's #2 spot is deserved. They haven't had much real wars in the past year, and only had the possibility to win 1 war against a "decently ranked clan". With the old images not easily accessible due atm, it's hard to judge the 27-28 result vs FALL but if I recall correctly atm FALL had a good F400 ranking so a close defeat - while not proving they deserve that #2 spot - doesn't discredit them much. I feel like their clan league results make up for the lack of big war victory.

Both of those ranking "problems" wouldve been solved if TOP wouldve played S&M in CC7. Now S&M is given the chance to show that they deserve that #2 spot by playing TOFU, so in due time we will see how this ranking reflects upon reality.

In that case I fully agree with you.

I've found the league to be more akin to a marathon. Wars are more akin to shorter races (although not really sprints)...much more intense and about absolute focus for 4-6 weeks...so to me winning a war is about who can have higher peak performance, while winning the league is about who can have higher sustained performance over time. You could be very good at one of those things and not as good (although usually not terrible) at the other. Again, one man's opinion, not the only opinion.
