Scene

The day started like any other day in Southern California. After some initial joshing by some of the people, a series of questionable statements by VioIet drew suspicion. After intense pressure by various townspeople proved unsuccessful, they finally pointed a Colt .45 in her face and blew her head off. After they searched the body, the truth finally dawned on them.

VioIet, Edgar McGraw(Town Deputy) has been lynched!

It is now Night 1, please send in your night actions. Deadline is in approximately 48 hours.

Btw, VioIet, discussing your motivations for playing your role should be left until after the game. A quick "damn I'm dead is ok". I'll also withhold judgment until after the game because the mod should be impartial.

Well if you're really town, which I still doubt, you hurt the town considerably by refusing to defend yourself then to claim, thus wasting the day that could have been employed hunting down scum (yeah right day 1, who am I kidding), and probably making a town loss ineluctable. So there you have it.

Woah, "ineluctable" is actually a word. I was going to make a LOL post about you possibly combining three different words there, but apparently some English bastard beat you to it (and never told me about it. Seriously, I'm working this one back into the lexicon).

Violet, while I get that your play might make sense in RL Mafia (and this is why I held off on voting you), in the interwebz it's kinda different. If you can provide any shred of proof that you shouldn't be lynched when you're in serious danger of being lynched, you should put it out there.

Hattori Hanzo was closing up his sushi bar when he heard a noise upstairs. When he entered his attic, he noticed a sword missing from the rack. Too late did he realize that someone intended to kill him as an unknown assailant buried the sword into the back of his neck.

MeDeFe, Hattori Hanzo (Vanilla Townie) has been killed.

Elsewhere, Butch Coolidge returned to his apartment to retrieve his father's gold watch. He knew the risks, but thought he could take care of trouble. Unfortunately, as he opened the door, a hail of Mac-10 bullets brought him down.

Hm. This is only my second game here, so I'm not quite sure whether mandy is acting suspicious or if that's just they way he is.

I have to agree with ga7, I would like to hear some more from karel (and to a lesser extent Haggis) because they haven't posted that much. Maybe they're busy in rl? Or trying to lay low?

Anyways I'll reserve my vote until I hear some more, maybe from someone who knows what happened in the night.

Ok, just finished Jackie Brown. Great movie...different than most Tarintino films though. Only one person dead in the first hour or so! =O
