that is correct. she was shot by michelle rodriguez' character in the second season. her brother boone died either season one or two as well

couple of ideas- the idea of the magic box seems legit to me every person that came to the island had some kind of corrisponding thing brought with them heres the ones we know that i can remember-

locke- his dad
kate- horse
sayid- women he tortureds cat
jack- his dad i think that some how the island revived his dad and we will meet him later on to many references to him in flashforwards for him to be dead
hurley- food
echo- his bros plane

also in miles flashback did anyone else think that the womans photos on the wall looked like echo?

whoever said that bens man on the boat was michael i think u were spot on. he has to come back at some point and i think this will be a perfect time and place.

i love the idea of a lost map possible continents-
dark territory
caves
beaches
barracks
jungle
second smaller island?

maybe with some kind of bonus for holding all darma station as well.

i think kate may not be one of the ocienic 6 i reckon she took a run for it when she escaped (with bens help to get away) hence bens "if u want to keep your freinds safe" also he may threaten with the rest of ocianic 6's lives.

I heard that in episode 4 kate is with a three year old child called arron is this claire's child or one she had with sawyer this is probably who she was taking about in season 3 finale.

I like it. It makes a lot of sense. Wouldn't suprise me if it was him.

Kate is one of the oceanic 6. In the flash-forward in the most recent season finale, she is there with Jack, and Jack is yelling "we have to go back!" 1. It is in the future. 2. "going back" would imply that they were on the island but left.

to have michael as the informant is probably the best guess anyone could make. ever since the first episode of season 4, the actor harrold perrineau or w/e has been in the credits, so i've just been trying to figure out how he could be connected

That would be me who suggested it. I also think it makes sense because the group looking for the island would find someone who got off it to be a perfect candidate to help them find it. As for Kate I have no idea.

I think you miss understood me i meant she got off the island but the media did not recognise her as one of the 6 as they did not know she came back as she went into hiding. Meaning there are 6 others that escaped not including Kate.

im not quite sure id agree with that. i think that this show is confusing, but if they [the writers/producers] wanted to say she's not in the oceanic six, they would have stated that more obviously

That is a good point, both her and Sawyer could have returned without getting one's attention as to avoid arrest.

Exactly. We can have a thread for each individual character, the island, the boat people, the future, the dharma group, etc.

Not if you are talking about specific characters. There is a lot of info for each of the main ones that have been there since the start.
