Funny - I searched for 'snake eyes' when trying to find the picture of the dice I used on my image... I nearly used those dice I think, but I found some red ones instead... did I leave the white ones on the PSD??gimil wrote:Gimil Round 1
Unfortunatly the ways of the worlds have kept me busy, but this is what I swqeezed i.

This makes me happier. It may not be the most professional-looking but at least it shows you know your share of the basics, without blatant plagiarism. This is a step in the right direction guys.t-o-m wrote:ok heres my pathetic attempt:
i used lone's turtle.
look for the CC star
It would have been awesome if you could get the paperclip to take the form of a dice somehow.Kaplowitz wrote:Okay tom, here's my serve
You're up next

Its just an image off google with a filter or two stuck on it. Athought I bet no one can guess the letter and font that makes the CC starwcaclimbing wrote:Gimil, its pretty good, but I would like it more if the background was a bit better quality. the texture just isn't working for me right now. Maybe if you redrew it and added your own effect to it, it would have come out better. Overall, Its good, though.gimil wrote:Gimil Round 1

On another note, did you do the fireworks yourself wca? I'd be interested to know what software people are using - can people add that to their post with their pic along with their file location/size details? Some people might find that sort of thing interesting?
I'd like that too if people could take more time, I would.MrBenn wrote:On another note, did you do the fireworks yourself wca? All done in Photoshop Elements 3.MrBenn wrote:On another note, did you do the fireworks yourself wca? Twill wasn't in the first pic, and I don't think Dilbert would be a good addition to the pic.gimil wrote:What about poor little twill?
If you want to see a PSD from this, you have a choice. I ALWAYS make my pictures at 2x size, so i can get in all the details I want. I can upload the 2x (in this case, its 1200x800 size) or I can shrink it to 600x400.t-o-m wrote: yeh ide like to see people's PSD's - i find that i learn the programme a lot more when looking at other people's work
That is correct. Good job finding that.static_ice wrote: The fireworks must have come from this image, maybe he touched it up a little. But the results are great, I don't know any other way to get this effect nearly as realistic.
