Funny - I searched for 'snake eyes' when trying to find the picture of the dice I used on my image... I nearly used those dice I think, but I found some red ones instead... did I leave the white ones on the PSD??

Gimil, its pretty good, but I would like it more if the background was a bit better quality. the texture just isn't working for me right now. Maybe if you redrew it and added your own effect to it, it would have come out better. Overall, Its good, though.

On another note, did you do the fireworks yourself wca? I'd be interested to know what software people are using - can people add that to their post with their pic along with their file location/size details? Some people might find that sort of thing interesting?

I'd like that too if people could take more time, I would.
The fireworks must have come from this image, maybe he touched it up a little. But the results are great, I don't know any other way to get this effect nearly as realistic.

All done in Photoshop Elements 3.
One firework was from a picture (the red one, i think). Then I just changed the colors and made it into the other two.
The monkey and turtle were both originally pics from google. but they were really small and really not what I was looking for (I think the turtle was originally a stuffed animal....) So I brought both of them into photoshop, then redrew them in a second layer above it.
Everything else was completely photoshop.

Twill wasn't in the first pic, and I don't think Dilbert would be a good addition to the pic.
If you prefer, just go by the time when Twill didn't have an avatar. Then he's invisible, sitting between Andy and Lack.

If you want to see a PSD from this, you have a choice. I ALWAYS make my pictures at 2x size, so i can get in all the details I want. I can upload the 2x (in this case, its 1200x800 size) or I can shrink it to 600x400.
the big one is 9.04M , a pretty big file. the smaller one is 2.87M.
If the large file size won't bother you, go with the 2x one. it lets you zoom in a lot without losing any quality.

You'll be able to learn quite a bit on how I did it if you look at the layers. I keep everything in lots of seperate layers, because it gives me the most control over the pic and helps me not get confused about what everything is.

That is correct. Good job finding that.
The trick to make it look like that is to take the first layer, set it to screen, so your sky color shows through.
Then copy that layer, put gaussian blur to about 10 pixels (something kinda small, but enough to give you some nice bright spots).
Then copy the blurred layer and blur it to about 50 (probably a bit more than that. enough to give it a lot of glow around it.
Then just mess with the opacity of those two blurred layers, and you will probably find something you like.
