Great game out of Baltimore tonight. Dennis Dixon was very impressive for never having started, having thrown one total pass in the regular season, playing against a tough Ravens defense, and doing it all on national television. Never mind that the Steelers lost, DD's probably earned himself a starting job somewhere down the road.

Yeah, Dixon did play well and gave the Steelers a chance to win it too,
but oddly enough it was the defense that couldn't hold the Ravens in
regulation. Flacco also had a good game as this was another rumble
in what has become a great rivalry in the AFC North. <- correction

Wow, what a game! Drew Brees just rocked the Patriots with precision passing for most of the night. Now we've got 2 undefeated teams going into this week. I'm not sure if that's ever happened before this late into the season. The ESPN analysts were making the case that Belichick kept going for it on 4th down repeatedly because he wanted to stick it to the critics about his decision against the Colts. ("This is who I am"......nah, nah nah, nah nah, nah!)

Or... maybe he knew they needed to maintain possession to keep up
with the Saints... five TDs from Brees is a lot keep up with.

What a dramatic game between the Skins and Saints. Washington woke up at the end of the game to realize they were still Washington, missed the easy field goal, and allowed the Saints to come from behind to win in OT!
...and the game ball goes to Shaun Suisham

Oh, it's pretty well disputed, motherfucker.
Guy isn't shit without rolling his video cameras on other teams' practice. f*ck that dude. Seriously. No offense to you, but I hate that guy. Fucking dipshit cheater.
Let's see how many superbowls Bellychick can win without knowing his opponents offense in advance.
It's just amazing how the Patriots defense has dropped off after Mangenius (I hate him, too) caught him videotaping.
So, in conclusion, shut up Boston.
(still got love for you spurgistan, just not your team)

1 point defeat against the Dolphins... man I'm so tempted to scream the quote from South Park's Whale Whores.
If I can get this right, why do I get the feeling Bellicheck (sp?) went pulled another dick move on 4th down again? >.>;

I was quite happy about the Dolphins win today. Puts the Jets that much closer to taking first place!

Among other things here, you call me a Bostonian (false) a Pats fan (less false, but also not true) and somehow forget about the 2007 season. That was a good one. And one in which the Pats went 18-1 (it was a big one) despite having all scrutiny on Belicheat, and lost draft picks to boot. But please, hate. Hate hate hate.

Simma.
I hate to be mean here, but um, you do realize THAT WAS THE SEASON THEY GOT CAUGHT.
So all the other teams hadn't created new offenses and defenses to react to the years upon YEARS of cheating and foreknowledge of his opponents that Bellycheat had.
Remember the Superbowl that year? The Giants decided to forgo the normal routine practice the day before the game and hold it in secret with an enormous amount of security. It was still a close game, but somehow that Pats defense just wasn't what it had been the rest of the season in that game. Interesting.
Some new plays were run that weren't recognized by Belichick. Point set and match. I WIN.
In conclusion, shut up Boston. Or Foxboro, whatever.

The Manning pretend you're gonna get sacked before tossing a long one downfield for your tight end to catch on top of his helmet play was something new, but the winning TD toss to Burris was just the basic NY fade to the corner. Maybe it was the simplicity of going back to basics that faked 'em out?

The Cardinals are starting to click on all cylinders againt. Looks like they're set to make another run near the end of the season. Wouldn't it be great if Minnesota & Arizona battled again during the playoffs for a rematch?!!
