The MWC should be interesting for sure. Wish it was staying that way.

Believe me, most of us on the MWC Board feel the same. Most TCU fans wished that their school had stayed in the conference. As for BYU, well, other than a few select fans, not many people will be missing them too much (other than nearly a century of being in the same conference as Utah and BYU).

The SEC started out the Bowl Season 0-3 but turned it around big time as both Michigan and Michigan State got stomped while Florida survived Penn State in the Outback Bowl. Actually the Nittany Lions QB pretty much presented a parting gift to Urban Meyers surrendering 5 interceptions and the game.
SEC is now 3-4 with LSU, Kentucky and Auburn still to come.
Big Ten finishes 3-4
Big 12 is 3-4, Texas A&M vs LSU play in the Cotton Bowl Jan.7th
Pac-10 is 2-1 with #2Oregon vs #1Auburn Jan.10th for the BCS National Championship.
ACC is 4-4... BC vs Nevada Jan.9th
Big East is 2-3 with Pitt vs Kentucky Jan.8th
The Mountain West finished their bowl season 4-1
#3TCU remains unbeaten with a win over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.

MWC is looking to win our 4th Bowl Challenge Cup. The MWC already has won it the most times of any conference, so another one looks to cement our place.

The Bowl Challenge Cup is even more mythical than the old time Associated Press poll National Championship. Gives fans plenty to debate, but the top teams are exactly that regardless of polls, statistics and won/lost records. Any team that faces off with Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, Ohio State, Iowa, LSU, Boise State, Wisconsin, Stanford, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Air Force or TCU knows what they are up against.

Stanford and VT tonight. Should be a good game.
God I hope the DUCKs get their ass handed to them. Without a doubt the most arrogant fans on the planet.
Wisconsin fans being number 2

ACC champ=Ran over
Big East "champ"=Ran over
MWC Champ=Rose Bowl Champs
Somebody PLEASE tell me why the Big Least is considered amongst the Big 6 in football? Or the ACC as well for that matter?

A few years back West Virgina "ran" right past Georgia in the Peach Bowl and in recent seasons the Conference had a good showing with Pitt, Rutgers, Cincinnati and West Virginia all strong. I suppose TCU will help get the competitiveness of the Big East rolling again.

Yeah the big east is weak and acc isn't that great either but I'm going to give credit to Stanford and their coach. They seemed to have the perfect game plan for dismantling the VT defense. I can't remember the last time I saw a team keep the opponent's defense that off balance.

So a great touchdown is called back because the receivers wrist was down. I know they scored anyways but I have to say calling someone down because their wrist hit after review especially is bs...that rule should be changed.

Ohio State against Arkansas in the first half of the Sugar Bowl comes to mind and speaking of interesting calls, the second half safety was an odd one too. Forward progress at the 2 yard line, driven backwards into the end zone and then tackled for +2.

It was an interesting call...I think I know why the officials called it that way and it probably wasn't the right reason but it may have been accurate...I don't know any of the rules anymore now that I know a wrist is considered down...

I suppose it could be considered a defensive tactic... (1) stop the runner's forward progress (2) drive him backwards into the end zone (3) releasing him to (4) tackle for a safety.
Classic finish to the game... Buckeye punter takes 3 steps (instead of 2) and get's blocked giving the Razorbacks a huge opportunity to complete a second half comeback, only to see the first turnover of the game. Almost a kicking mistake comparable to the Giants meltdown against the Eagles two weeks ago.

An impressive game by a young LSU team in the Cotton Bowl.
A&M played better against them than I expected and both
teams should be highly regarded in the polls next year.
Interesting tactic by Les Miles to slow down the fast paced Aggie
offense... subbing the defense via "injury."

Anyone else watching the NCG? 13:24 to go. Much lower score than I think anyone expected. Auburn up 19-11.

In the spirit of tackling somebody...he's down. technically..he's not. they need new rules.
EDIT: Do we need to pin the shoulders to the mat and get a 3 count to confirm he's pinned...i mean tackled?

And the SEC now has 5 straight National Championships, 7-0 record for the SEC in 13 BCS NCGs, and 5 different SEC teams winning NCs. All we need is an Arkansas NC next year and half the SEC teams will have won a BCS national championships!
