Under normal circumstances, yes. The characters name and role is normally revealed when they are lynched, or when day begins for those killed at night.

There are a few exceptions however. The mafia can a a specific role in their group, janitor, that can prevent the role of the person that they kill from being revealed. The pro-town role death miller appears to be scum when investigated by a cop and when it is killed it's role is shown as scum rather than death miller.

I don't agree. I just read through some past threads and whatnot and there are roles like masons and cops who have a sheriff and doctors who can all talk to each other. Why do we think she is mafia rather than one of a set of two or three cops? 'Cause if we kill her and she is then the mafia know who to night kill (the other one) . Then wouldn't we lose two cops or doctors? Or is this not a correct assumption?

Because you asked. That's why. He explained 2 of the most known reasons how roles are revealed when people die. There is nothing scummy in that post.

Also, yes fircoal, Daze did mention ''friend'' before violet. So that heads up, coming from a friend to watch the thread, isn't in itself that scummy.

However..With so many votes on her, Daze could have posted slightly more than that for her defense.

I still don't like saxlad :S am getting bad vibes from him. But...Am ready to switch my vote to Daze if she doesn't post something of substance anytime soon.

That is truethat there are town roles that know each others identities however mafia are much more common. Combine that with the fact that daze had already exhibited scummy behavior. Daze is a good target andvfinding out daze's role will point heavily towards vioIet's allegiance as well.

Do you need the actual post from her in our forum? And besides, I've voted for both of them prior this thing. I know both of them quite well and if you're too deaf or blind to think that other people may have problems, I feel sorry for you for not having any empathy. Ugh fucking 4 pages after I get off work, and almost nothing of value. The only ones posting w/ any sense around here were Fir and nagerous. Whatever, dazer's post color may be annoying, but major FOS on some of you for jumping on the "omg that color is the worst" BW. I'm thinking that's just an opportunity for some of you dirty scumsters to lynch someone. Not that I'm convinced that dazer is a townie, because at this point I can't say anyone is.
