It doesn't say "you may not discuss anything". It's in place to prevent role pm-related 'cheating'. You can claim a name and a power, and surely you can claim that you have a role

It would be incredibly hard to play this game if no one could talk about their abilities.

Playing the mod is rather unnecessary here as there has not been any indication from the mod that Storr has done anything wrong.

Im not particularly set on mtam as scum but i think pressure needs to be applied to a few folks to force a claim.

Nobody talked about their roles in my last game, and someone even said that making an unforced claim was scummy, so I didn't know what was allowed. I wasn't saying that Storr had done anything wrong. It appears that he is restricted in what he is allowed to say, and I was asking if that could include being required to deny having a power role, such as day cop.

Does anyone have a logical explanation for Storr's posts?
Is Storr's statement that he's just a squib meant to imply that he has no powers?
Streaker says he thought that this was No Vanilla, but I don't recall seeing that anywhere.

I'd like to point out sempai since I'm out of character . Pushed me for being 3rd party possibly turning mafia latter. He was pushing an easy lynch. That obviously wouldn't show who is scum or not upon the flip. He jumps very quickly on mtamburini when he thinks I could be cop.

As a group we have no idea if character indicates alignment. If it does, filch is obviously 3rd party. Doesn't give a shit about the students. Has been at hogwarts in bad times and good, his loyalties lie in the school because it accepted him as a Squib. Which also means I can't turn into a death eater because I lack magic. based on what I am I think it does indicate, and it means imo mafia have good fake claims. Like Voldemort fake claim could be hairy potter. Hence we need to be lynching people based on their scummy play.

I believe mafia to be death Eaters with fake claims as students. Or it could be no fake claims and alignment isn't indicative by flavor.

I'm going by the flavor because I know HP. I'm pretty new to mafia (this is my 3rd game), so I'm not sure how to read people and am trying to use what little I've been given.
I'm not trying to push lynches - just trying to put pressure on people to get info.

I've been playing as if character does indicate alignment. Even if Filch can't turn into a death eater, the death eaters could try to use him to get at certain students (Harry, etc.) Filch was all for helping Umbridge, and Umbridge was all too happy to work at the Ministry when Voldemort controlled it. He may not be scum, and he could provide some helpful information, but I'm not sure town should trust him completely - I say he be watched carefully, at the very least.
