Re: New Greasemonkey script : Conquer Club Map Rank

Post by chipv »

1.2.0 is available.

Note there is no fix needed for the zero points values because they will automatically be correct once all the game logs have been restored.
Keep an eye on the announcements.

This is a major change aimed at making the results faster especially for people with hundreds of games on one map.
Please can some pepole verify the win/loss/total games and medals are correct with both the option checked and unchecked.
Thanks - if all goes well, I shall begin on cancelling.

Hey Chip...

Can you put some validation on the box - I just pressed "Get Map Rank" and I think if you leave it blank - it attempts to get everyone's map rank...

On all maps...

I said EVERYONE!

(Which is bad!)

Well, 1.2.1 stops empty player text like the game finder, but until you get that update, try and make sure you type in something as the player name...

I'm interested to see whether or not 1.2.1 (now available) addresses the requests for stats when playing first.

You should be able to get hold of all stats especially for 2 player games for win/losses when a player went first (and hence also second).

The 18 is a number for your Cross Maps medal.
(You need 20 for bronze!)

Look in the right hand column under Unique defeats. You can see all the maps
where you have defeated at least 5 unique opponents (there will be 18 of them).
You need 2 more maps with at least 5 unique defeated opponents
for a bronze medal.
Basically the number in the brackets is the number of maps with the right hand column at least 5.

1.2.2 is available and finally includes

Cancelling!

The box is now a normal window so you can move it, minimise it and close (which cancels the current operation).
The maps are now sorted by name also.

So, with this new script I have realized that I only have 7 maps that qualify for the cross-maps medal.....

i just downloaded the latest version, and it never finishes a tally anymore, when the option is checked it stops at world 2.1 and when it is unchecked it freezes at the very beginning, doesnt freeze the whole firefox browser, just doesnt seem to do anything, left it for a long time hoping it would finish, but doesnt ever seem to.

yeah, so its great that you can minimize it, but its not really helping me out.
If I have it minimized while its counting my games, and I click a link here in CC, the script stops counting and the mimimized screen disappears....

Problem is that whenever you refresh the page, the script stops and refreshes, so I close the window down - it can't continue running.
It's really there for cancel and moving around.

1.2.4 fixes remaining freezing problems on both options checked and unchecked.

I'll take a look at the minimise issue, actually, I've had an idea.

If you're doing some Cosmetic stuff... can you

a) Make just the table scrolly. (i.e. not header and footer (OK button))
b) anchor OK button to the bottom.
c) allow resizing of window.

This will make it more user friendly.

Cheers,

C.

PS Otherwise - no problems for me - works great.

Getting better...

But would like

a) Table moves with resize.
b) Header doesn't get scrollable.
