I think you're mistaken with the "claims were dangerous only because of the hunt" line. Not only did Mandy warn about claiming, he warned about MASS claiming. Anyway I do agree on one thing, I'm not sure we can fully trust the jedi claims, at least because of the cult thing.
As for mine well obviously I'm a survivor, and knowing how sadistic Mandy can be, I have reasons to think that the vong might be able to kill me instantly if they know my full identity, so I'll hold off for now.
And then you call me skimmer? Now answer me, punk
My role pm is in my savebox btw, I can quote it anytime
I read that, but you really think revealing just your name (no other role-related info) will automatically make you die? In your words, that seems fishy....
Yes, call me paranoid but I find it very likely that considering the character, IF scum are able to kill me if I claim, a name will likely be enough. I'm not willing to take that risk when I'm so close to my goal.
ga7 wrote:Basically, why were you in favour of the Neutrino lynch and believing he wasn't vanilla when you knew he wasn't doing anything shady at night?
And yes, I know he was scummy and even claimed death miller or something, but that doesn't explain why you who had knowledge that he wasn't wanted him lynched.
I knew he didn't do anything shady ONE night. And correct me if I'm wrong, but only 1 member of the scum actually 'leaves his house at night' to make the kill, correct? This is the first time I've ever been a Tracker so I've never really needed to look into it. I always get vanilla town or scum roles.
And in a weird way, when mandalorian said he was 'listening to the Macerana' I kinda thought it was a weird hint of some sort since he wouldn't elaborate.
And please re-phrase (he wasn't wanted him lynched?) the end of your post that I quoted and I'll respond, I think your French-ness got in the way of your English.

Fair enough, but that seems like a good scum excuse to not claim to me...
wicked, after I die keep an eye on him. I pick you because I think your town.
I've gotta go back to work now, if you guys want anything else answered before you lynch me, I'll be back on in like 3 or 4 hours. Maybe earlier but I'm not sure.
kalishnikov wrote:And yea, voting someone so they will talk in a game that nothing was happening in and was getting boring is scummy, I know, you've said it like a hundred times.
Well, if it'd been YOUR idea and you wouldn't have put him at lynch-1, I might've bought it... what you said above is what *I* did, not you.
Rofl, sorry about that. Braiiins....
Well I dunno if there could be vanilla scum here but the dead scums' roles don't look very vanilla to me.
Listening to Macarena a hint?? I guess it might be a hint that Mandy is not only insane but has also creepy references
Anyway for tracker it depends of the mods, but I saw several telling when someone meets up with another also. Well dunno I guess it's a bit of a WIFOM. Personally I would never have assumed anything else than vanilla or passive town/neutral role from that result.
Fortunately no rephrase needed as you explained your view already, phew

Come to think of it, the fact I don't want to claim proves that I'm not scum They have fake claims after all
In all seriousness, I'd be willing to take the risk only on the last day and you might not be the only scum so (and if that's the case I hope scum will have the good sense to not NK me )
wicked wrote:Kalish it's your actions that are scummy, so I personally don't need any further clarification, as I'm pretty sure you're scum and am just waiting on the others to come on and vote you. Forgetting who you tracked is quite a convenient excuse. Your voting of ga cinched it for me once I saw the cult would know the Jedi role PM... just waiting for the others to catch up.
I will follow your logic, as this seems to me the strongest argument for the time being.
On top of that I can't imagine that a tracker forgets the results of his investigations. That kalish can't remember correctly if AK visited ga7 or another one, seems to me like an attempt to divert the attention to ga7.
wicked wrote:I don't think it's been proven that scum have fake claims, has it? It's probably just a matter of them initially being town then recruited.
I think they may have fake name and roles, but not full claims.
For half of standard year, I have been running around, wisiting old battle-fields and reliving the events that had shaped the Galaxy into what it is today. I told you about the victories, both those earned by the ruthless persistence of the Yuuzhan Vong and of those won by the loyal forces of the New Republic. I also informed you of all the blunders that ended up costing New Republic the lives of it's own heroes.
Now, my wanderings are over. Baron Fel has kindly permited me to live the rest of my life as his official scribe. Once again, I have a place to call home without having to sacrifice my integrity for the priviledge. It is so peacefull here. Technology is not stigmatized, there are no priests or Gods to worry about. After the years spent living under Shimrra's regime, I could do with a little peace. So, allow me to briefly describe how the New Republic finally fell.
After the catastrophic Battle of Bastion, Jedi Master Kyp Durron decided that the only possibility of victory lies in finding and executing the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong agents before they could peruade more people to join their side, like Nom Anor had done with Tenel Ka. Joined by a human called Selin and a Khommite by the name of Ga7, he confronted Mara Jade. Instead of trying to deny the carges, she accused him, in return of killing her husband, Luke Skywalker and attacked him.
While the two Jedi fought, Selin and Ga7 went towards the doors. Before exiting, Selin exhales, allowing bo'tous spores to fill the room. Then, they exit and seal the door. The two Jedi haven't noticed that anything has gone wrong until the started to suffocate, by which time it was far to late for them to do anything about it.
Ga7 and Selin went out of the building, only to be greeted by a messanger.
-'Dread One', he says to Ga7, 'Supreme Commander Nas Choka has sent word that Admiral Ackbar has been killed along with his fleet.'
'The Gods smile on us.', replied Ga7, 'Send word to all our troops that we have won. This Galaxy belongs ot the Yuuzhan Vong now.'

Kalishnikove (Mara Jade) (Jedi)(Wife-turned SK) has been lynched.
Fircoal(Admiral Ackbar)(Retired New Republic Admiral) and
Wicked 2.0 (Kyp Durron)(Vigilante)(Jedi) have been endgamed.
Most popular: Serbia. The original 25 invitees got to vote who they would like to play with. I sent Serbia invite after recieving only about 50 percent of the votes, because nearly EVERYONE voted for him.
New Republic Hero: Nagerus for killing Koesen and denying Vong their first Night Kill.
Yuuzhan Vong Hero: Huck (Kyp Durron) for killing of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chilgal.
The only Jedi to use his power correctly: Mountain Lion. He defended against Kwanton, but he couldn't defend against Huck, too.
Most Wronged by the Mod : Talapus and Gimpy. Sorry guys, I should have given Talapus a chance to refuse becoming a Cult Leader.
Most useless 'Power' - Selin's changing of NK targets. I put it in to reaming true to the story. Sorry Selin.
Adittional apologies to Exile (for messing up his fake WCs) and Freezie (for not listing him as a Vong in AK's PM. Although I still think that he should have looked two posts above his in the Scum thread
I hope that you all had as much fun playing this as I had moding.
Mishuk gotal'u meshuroke, pako kyore.
