I may have mentioned before that my Dad once said he thought some people were too stupid to be allowed a vote. On the face of it, a reasonable statement.
But when I asked him what his test would be to qulaify, his reply was "Anyone who votes for the tories is a bloody idiot and should have their vote taken away".

While some may be mature enough to vote based on actual political opinions and or beliefs, most however are not.
In some cases 16 yr olds shouldn't even be allowed to speak in public based on ignorance alone but hey we cant all have what we want can we?
Although I find the grammar and spelling mistakes as blinding as the colors, his/her website does pose an interesting question. If a 16 year old can be tried in adult court for an adult crime, shouldn't 16 year olds be permitted to vote?
