technically, good game means it was a good game, it's polite to say it any time.
just like saying gl and hf at the start of a game.

people who type "gl" after they roll 3-0,3-0,3-0 at the start of a game are infinitely more annoying than somebody who wishes you gg after a game is obviously over.

I hate it when people say "gl" anyway. They never mean it, it's just something they do to taunt you into believing that they use the chat at all. It's almost like a macro... start game, type "gl". End game, type "gg". Totally meaningless.
When you're playing a game based on luck, it might be "good sportsmanship" to wish everyone else "good luck", but (excepting Terminator games) only one person/team can be lucky. Wishing good luck on your opponent is wishing bad luck on yourself.

In dubs games I usually try to wait till after round 3 to say gg, some times its hard.
Anyway, I think that after 3 pages this thread is about done. gg

...and what of a player that is eliminated? I say GG to them as a fallen soldier and that is pre-postgame (unless its one of my friends, then I say something more like "Good riddance ya douchebag...lol).
Anyway, this DB obviously just wants to be added to as many foe lists as possible...incre one more ;o)

You type it in, but you mean that no matter who wins, it's a good game? Not necessarily that you've won? I do this frequently.

Anyway, isn't it much better to type it before the game is over? If you type it when you've already won, chances are no one is going to see it...
