There are no standard sizes... the maximum for large is 840x800 and maximum for small is 630x600. You can make any size smaller than these as long as it's legible.
Oh, and as a general guideline, the large map is recommended to be 33% larger than the small map (133% * 630x600 = 840x800) ie. the small map should be 3/4 the size of the large.

Sweet! I'll change the layout and maximize the space so everything is legible. I'm going to move the instructions to the bottom and darken the table seat and dealer numbers. This might come together. Any other ideas or suggestions on how we can make this be a success?

This map just doesn't settle well with me. It doesn't scream "CASINO!" the first I look at it. No garish lights, no feeling of too much booze and too little money left for the craps table, no need to go "all-in" because I just got a full house. It looks instead like a drab art project made of construction paper.
The dark tint to the entire map certainly doesn't help. Vegas is bright, bold, and overly in your face about it. Put in bright colors, extra glow, etc. If there ever was a map where you could get away with metric overkill, this would be it.
Overall, the gameplay is very difficult to decipher, and some of it borders on "why is it even here?" For instance, the Pit Boss killer neutral makes sense, but the High Roller Lounge one will almost guarantee that that portion of the map never sees play, because it's a whole bunch of pointless to hammer through a 12 neutral to get the privilege to bombard specific players (which aren't specified). Not much of a gameplay reward for 12 neutrals. What exactly bonuses are is hard, as there's a Wall-O-Text on the right that I have to wade through, and it isn't location-specific.
I'm not saying the map is crap(s), but there's a lot of work to be done to bring it up to snuff.

I was thinking about the high rollers section, how about those are starting positions and we add a few more sections to it(ie High Roller slots and roulette), with each High Roller being able to attack their respective game and can only be attacked by the high roller lounge. Though the problem I see with this is for games of 7 and 8 atm. Also, when the map eventually goes through that workshop, we'll(and by that I mean shocked) will work on glittsing the map up. Though right now, I want to come up with a more spectacular name than casino floor(doesn't sound casino-y enough). My vote still goes for Conqueror's Casino. After the name is decided upon, I'll fill out the app for approval.
edit: just realized that my game play proposal would make the bistro, club and sports brook useless, so need a way to overcome that

My original idea made the killer neutrals the only way you could get to the starting positions. Kind of like WWII Poland, with more spaces between the generals and the paf, and the paf as a killer neutral.
Anyways I won't be able to work on this for a few months. If some one else wants to take over I can email you the .psd file with the layering and you can do your best.

we don't seems to be getting much comments on this, so might as well call this one dead for now right?
