The dice are fine. Tests have been done to prove this - it's a statistics thing.
As people though, we only care to remember the worst events that happen in general, let alone dice. Therefore, when we recall dice anomalies, all that we can remember are the bad things that have happened - not the good. I'm sure if you were to start making a list of all the times you had good 'intensity cubes' versus bad, you'd have an equal list by the end of the day.
