Alright, to avoid clutter, I'll recycle an old thread.

I'm considering doing a mafia game based on TV Tropes.

The idea is to have all the roles be some sort of character trope. I'd add different characteristics as abilities, probably supplemented by some item tropes.

The game can be basically as large or as small as we want, and I wouldn't mind a co-mod, if it's really large to help with the logistics. Doesn't have to be extremely experienced, a newer player who would like a taste of modding would be just as good. Fakeclaim possibilities will abound.

This is really in the very early idea phase, and I am currently modding a game and will be about to co-mod one, so this is on the back burner. Just gauging interest/familiarity with the site and ideas.

So basically you want us get lost for 10 hours daily in your mafia game?

I'd be pretty much OK with that.

I've so many ideas for Mafia---I remember when I use to host them way back in the early days of the forum, I had themes and ideas for a couple dozens, and a couple pretty well finished.

But I'm too afraid to host a game now, since it looks like there are so many now that there is fair chance a game will stall or start to move inactive because the pool of players may not be able to keep up with so many games!

Just make it an invite-only game. Get only active players involved. Simple solution.
