Just curious as to why my last reply was 'censored' and removed? I was very positive about the addition of the round limit.. I just made the suggestion that it should be based on more then just who has the most troops and I gave example as to why that's so and even offered to find a proper mathematical algorithm to determine it.
Anyway.. besides that oddness.. I wanted to suggest that you make the following changes on the 'my games' page.
Currently you have the hierarchy of information as follows:
Round Limit
Round
Time Remaining
It should read as follows:
Time Remaining
Round
Round Limit.
For the following reasons...
The time Remaining is the most important information and it is the one that I am sure most of us look to first. ..
The Round # should be next ..because it actually will change on a regular basis. The Round Limit should be last because it will most likely NOT be different then the default 'none' in most cases.
Just some friendly suggestions to help continue the greatness that is CC!
A small off note: I think this change has messed up BOB's clock calculations, because every turn shows as completing "Tomorrow @ NaN:NaN am".
EDIT: I puzzled it out, and since sherkaner is on vacation for three weeks, I have posted a patch here in the BOB thread. Unfortunately, I cannot update the file so that people will get the New version available warning and just update from there. They will have to edit the BOB script themselves.

Great new feature!!! A few more options for the round that the game ends would be nice (e.g. 30 or 40 rounds as well), as would a more fine tuned way for determining the winner. I kinda liked the draw idea to some extent, maybe splitting the points?
But all in all, great work . Can't wait to go back to 2.1 no spoils.
So now I can play no spoils, nuclear and flat rate games without having to play more rounds than I want to. This is great because the only reason I play escalating is actually because I don't want stalemates. Therefore this is a brilliant update in my mind. Don't know if it will matter much in tournaments because it's fairly easy to sort that out but in normal public games I think it's a huge addition. I think a lot more people are going to play more large none escalating spoils games now. I know I will!! And especially good for freemiums. Might keep more freemiums around the site.

this...I prefer flat, but it doesn't work well for multi-player...I'll also explore more of the no spoils challenges now.
