Only one beer? Wow.. Beer's aren't the greatest. Try spirits.

I haven't been drunk, and I got pretty put off when my friend vomited at my place after going to a party. I had to clean up all the mess, and even a few days after you could still smell the vomit..

it wasn't a whole beer just a little of it :P just 2 gulps

and p.s i don't mind if i drink or not why would i? to be tough? thats just stupid...

Oh, just one beer? Okay

And I didn't say that drinking makes you tough or cool. Sure, some people think it's cool to drink, but some just drink because you can.

I've never understood why people think that bowing before the porcelain

Alternating between water and whatever else you're drinking is a good method, I can guarantee you that you will not have a headache the next morning. At least I never had one since I started doing that.

Yes, that reminds me. I can't say I've been the most abstemious person, and experimentation by kids is only to be expected (and is necessary), but I think that regularly drinking until you "black-out" is - apart from being foolish and dangerous - a strange thing to want to do.

I've always preferred (a) being aware of what I'm doing, (b) where I am, and (c) who I am, but the number of kids these days who shoe-horn 50 units into a Friday and/or a Saturday night puzzles me.

I never liked the black out part, but it happens if you drink a lot in a short period of time or if you alternate beer/wine with strong alchool(brandy, vodka, whisky etc.).
To me mostly it happens when i go to sleep, if i drunk a lot before, i can't remember if i waked up in the night and done something, but the last time i was walking home from a bar and the last thing i rememberd is walking down the street but not how i got home.

Well, I drank on and off throughout junior high and high school, depending on what kind of people I was hanging out with. In moderation, though, really. The first time I got totally smashed I was a freshman in college, and my boyfriend at the time and I were just about the only people in the dorms over Thanksgiving break. We bought 3 jumbo bags of Cheetos, a box of Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch, two cases of Pabst Blue Ribbon, and settled in to beat every PlayStation game that he owned. Thanksgiving night we got serious with the PBRs. I remember repeatedly stumbling down the hall to the bathroom, and realizing I was drunk, I MEAN REALLY DRUNK, for the first time when I tried to stand up from the toilet, the world started spinning, and I fell down. I became enthralled with the experience and drank more and more until I puked and passed out.

My life has pretty much gone down hill from there. :D

Sounds like a commercial on why not to drink. "From your neighborhood boys and girls club."
