OK, 17 players now. So I need 1 more. But if many more want to play I might expand the tournament to 24 players.

When do you expect the first 11 games to begin (roughly)? Just so I know not to join many games before then.

Because so many players are interested I think I will expand it to 24 players. So if 2 more players enter in the next 24 hours, I will make it a 24 player tournament. If not, then I will stick at 18 players and the 4 others will be reserves.

Yes, when it will be a 24 player tournament, the 4 winners + the 2 best runners-up will go to the final.

OK, exactly 24 players now, so there will be 4 groups of 6 players.

The rules again:

-1 point for each win
-groupwinners and 2 best runners-up qualify for the final
-if some players have the same amount of points there will be a play-off game between these players on a map that neither of them have won (I will randomly select 1).
-in the final, when players have the same amount of points the number of points in round 1 (play-offs not included) decides the winner. If that is also the same, then there will be a play-off game again.
