My only problem with military is the political aspects,
If I were to join it would have to be for a group i actually supported and not doing it for a living. Why help my enemy achieve his goals?

freedom of speech, religion, press, freedom to be who you are.
that's a wonderful thing. and, just imagine that soldiers or sailors/marines gave their lives so that you could have all this freedom.

think about World War 2 do you really think that english would be our language had the US not gotten involved? do you think that it wouldn't have mattered?

when you see a soldier or any service person you should thank them cause they put their lives on the line for you.

if you were in any other country do you think you would have a choice to serve or not to serve.

i think Pres. Kennedy said it best:

Ask not what this country can do for you, ask what can i do for my country.
the lack of patriotism is just too much.

check this out. Islam wants all of use to convert to the islamic way of life. anyone who is not are either considered less than pond scum or a slave if not dead.

Islam= Iraq, Iran, Afganistan....too many to mention.
the excuse may have been WMR. but, if you think about it. it is much much more. our freedoms are at stake here.

borders are crap. people can come and go as they please. in big cities anyone can disappear easily.
the people that flew the planes that hit the world trade center were saudi arabian..

the remarks that some of you guys make just leaves me thinking about. what are you going to do when they come for you.

I'd rather not have those pansies watching my back.
The Vets are the reason these people can say what they say without fear of repercusions.

It's just the price we pay for the honor and pride of calling ourselves veterans........
