do we know how random.com generates its numbers? no number can be purely random, especially one coming from a computer. I know that some programs use a clock by which to begin the number generation process from. so could a pause between rolls 'change' your luck?

i don't know but i assume it sources from a milli/micro/nano second scale so that no 'random number' can appear twice within short time frames.

serarately from this, i have long thought that refreshing the browser seemed to change my luck sometimes. and generally use this only after a long bad spell.

It's true that a computer cannot generate pure random numbers, but if I remember correctly, random.org generates its numbers through values taken from radio static that go through an encrypting process... check random.org to see for sure though.

Conquer King is right! Random.org does in fact use an outside source of entropy, which the computer has an algorith to put as a byte. These bytes then give a number, which is our dice roll! It is not limited by the complex algorithms of a computer and therefore is a truly random number. Though, it does not matter in terms of our game. The numbers are equally random from a computer, its just that a cryptography expert might be able to go back and figure out how each number is made.

All this clicking of the refresh button. I can see a lot of people getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from this.

thank you twin fists... that is what I mean... and you guys are right, random.org does use radio static to generate truly random numbers... however it then caches these numbers in a large buffer. Since any numbers it generates are therefore stored somewhere, it is theoretically possible that refreshing the screen interferes with the order in which these numbers are drawn (for example, if it causes the index of random.org's buffer to reset, the numbers would be taken from the beginning of the array buffer again, and if those values happen to be high, it in effect would rig the dice role) granted, there is still a lot of randomness involved in this (for example, there would be an equal chance of getting all low values, in effect rigging it against you), and i'm not saying that this is at all likely, merely that it is theoretically possible, and that refreshing does sometimes seem to give you better roles

It's totally worth it.

it really does work!
but ive found a way that it allway grabs the last row of numbers in the buffer.

You have to make sure youve won allready then:

1. wait till 10s before your turn ends (this gives you enough time to end your turn and collect your card)
2. Click AUTO ATTACK
3. Quickly press ALT F4

Ive never lost a single army with this trick and my score just keeps rising and rising.
