88.7 89X is our alternative station. They'll hit up some newer Metallica, like Enter Sandman, and they started out in the early 90's, so they play grunge, but they also play the fruity new alternative bands, like Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco, so I don't listen to that station much anymore (now that I'm older and this new stuff is crap).

Yeah, neo-punk makes me suddenly feel nauseated. (vomits at the thought of the new Green Day album), but the old-school punk like the Sex Pistols and the Clash are infinately better. Even second-rate Hair Bands like Cinderilla are better.

Amen. Fall out Boy and panic at the disco give rock a bad name. I love the classic rock like Zeppelin, Hendrix, AC/Dc, the who, and Aerosmith. Modern Rock disspaoints me......
