It isn't officially considered a religion in the UK, nor is it in the USA.DirtyDishSoap wrote:pretty sure theres a fer over there in England who beleives in that kind of garbage
yes, in fact they recently opened their first church over here (in london luckily so i don't have to see it) but it is still not an official religion. They are campaigning to make it one, but the british government aren't having it. they are a cult and should remain one.DirtyDishSoap wrote:pretty sure theres a fer over there in England who beleives in that kind of garbage
really? thought it was somewhat of a major over here in the US (Considering how many imbeciles live here)Guiscard wrote:It isn't officially considered a religion in the UK, nor is it in the USA.DirtyDishSoap wrote:pretty sure theres a fer over there in England who beleives in that kind of garbage
I must say i like your heaven...heavycola wrote:If heaven exists it is full of christians. Can you imagine an eternity of Cum Bye Yah, coffee mornings and genuflection? No thanks.
Conversely, all this stuff about hell being eternal agony is just christian propaganda. God kicked lucifer out, it's not like he's going to keep doing what god wants. Therefore hell is full of the coolest people, the best music... jerry garcia and jimi hendrix gig every night with speaker stacks the size of mount everest, bill hicks is always up for a fireside chat and everyone is having guilt and STD-free sex, all the time. We woudl all be sinning happily while god and his children tut and shake their heads and have another bible study group instead. Bring it on!

The United Kingdom government does not recognize Scientology as a bona fide religion, and the Church's application for charity status in the United Kingdom was rejected in 1999.[110]
In the United States, Scientologists claim that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax exemption granted to the Scientology related businesses under IRS Tax Code section 501(c)(3) after extended litigation gives their religion a U.S. government stamp of authenticity.[111] The US Government makes no claim to Scientology's legitimacy through tax-exempt status as this is also granted to non-religious entities, such as the Red Cross[112] or the Wikimedia Foundation, which runs the online encyclopedia Wikipedia.
