am i reading this right - a clan can go up 250 points in the F400 for winning a where's waldo contest? that is ridiculous - no wonder ATN has been doing well.

will you offer enough of these contests so that a clan of 1 person can be ranked number 1 by winning all of the contests and never entering a war? no wonder this is a first of its kind.

Yeah, I agree. I thought the F400 was meant to rank expertise at winning team games. This makes the scale meaningless. The only reason I'm here is to play games on maps and I don't think I'm alone. I have no desire to go on a scavenger hunt.. I barely have the time to take my turns.

I guess I appreciate the fact you're trying to add a fun side game here but I think it's a mistake. Please keep the F400 ranking based solely on success at winning clan wars.

But I've to agree with hopalong and Denise.
What's the point of a clan rankings based on performance in clan war if you can win 250 pts ( that's just so huge), winning a game that has literally nothing to do with your skills at playing the game ?

And 250 pts is just huge. By winning this contest LHDD would have been 1st ( but I and probably most of LHDD members would have consider it completely meaningless to become first that way) and 1564 pts which is more than any clan reached in a year.

I disagree with the concept of giving F400 points based on smthg else than winning clan games, and I find 250 is a damn lot of points for it.

Indeed. I'll tell you what happened.

When IcePack became head of the CDs I shipped him some of the finest coffee imaginable, stuffed in fluffy bunnies as it's actually illegal to export the product. In return, Ice sends our clan word searches, crosswords and spot-the-difference games each month. Only a month though. If we complete correctly then we're awarded an extra 100pts for the F400. Admittedly, it usually takes our entire clan a 6hr Skype group call to figure them out, but we usually get there in the end. I mean, who knew another word for aubergine was eggplant?!

Lol so serious.. The points part was a joke it was worth 250 credits not points.. It was pretty obvious that it was an april fools prank but out of boredom we played along.. So thanks guys it was fun.. And well done on another great report

Also, when you get high enough you can lose points by winning by less than the expected margin. We regularly lose points that way and have for years. If we played a clan with a 800 score in a 50 game war we'd probably have to win 40-10 to stay even. Welcome to that world.
