I joked about cancer once to a friend, then he told me how his dad had died shortly after he had been born. That was the last time I ever joked about cancer. Bottom line, it wasn't funny then, it isn't funny now.

That's not what happnened at all.

1) He put up a picture on his Profile of a cancer-stricken child with a Shriners clown.

2) I saw it and asked him if he was a Shriner Clown.

3) He said, "No, I am the child dying of cancer."

4) We all expressed our regrets for him and it wasn't until 4-days later that he said he was "not dying of cancer" after I put up the message asking people to give him their thoughts and prayers.

That's not a little misunderstanding--it's freakin' sick.

He portrayed himself with a photograph of a bald, cancer-stricken child and said he was "dying."

What the HELL is wrong with you people who think this is funny? There is nothing funny about it. You're probably the same people who are defending the pedophile in the other thread. There are some real sick SOB's here.

For those who missed the catch 22 in that, The1exile's statement is in fact, a blanket statement and can not be successfully classified as true or false.

If its true, then the statement itself is false...
If it is false, then the statement itself could be true...
