Saints defense is terrible

Wrong. Colts offense is the best in the league. Saints will do better next game. GO SAINTS!
Saints offense is almost as good as the Colts offense, but they didn't do shit. Therefore,

Colts defense > Saints defense

Colts defense = average

and:

Saints defense < average

I almost agree with that, except for the fact that the Colts had the BEST defense in the playoffs last year. It doesnt dissapear when they enter the next season, and the only reason they had trouble for a while was Bob Sander's injury. He is a highly underrated player who is the anchor of that defense.

...And the 49ers are gonna suck tonight :D

I almost agree with that, except the 49ers part. I bet you free premium that they will win tonight :D

Since when has Lack offered premium for free?

And when Lack does give premium for free, ill accept that bet...

no, I'll give you free premium if they lose
but dont worry, because Alex Smith and Frank Gore are gonna carve that defense up :D

More First Impressions:

LT and Steven Jackson, who both sat out of pre-season, looked terrible. Plaxico Burress had his best game of the season, and Romo will never get that many fantasy points again. Ever. Period. :x

I dunno, the Cardinals look really good this year, and i think they may surprise the NFL and win their division this year. But this all depends on Leinart and what he can do with Fitzgerald and Boldin, and a solid rush attack with Edge...

This is what the 'experts' say about the Cardinals every year.

"They will be the darkhorse of the NFL"
"They will surprise everyone this year"
"The cardinals will go to the playoffs this year"

But it will never happen. They will always have the talent and never make it to the playoffs. They are cursed.

Umm before last year, where was all that talent? Were they hiding it, did Denny Green keep it behind closed doors?

But on a serious note, theyve improved on both sides of the ball, including the O-Line which was their Achilles last year (By the way, no RB or QB can succeed without a good O Line) and their D, making some pickups and having a healthy Adrian Wilson.

In that case, I can argue the same for the 49ers. They have drastically improved on both sides of the ball. There O-Line getting better by dropping Kwame Harris and adding Joe Staley. Frank Gore is better than Edgerrin James when healthy. Alex Smith is more experienced and better than Leinart. There defense now has 2 shutdown corners in Clements and Harris. There 3-4 defense is set with Abruyo Franklin, Willis, and Lawson getting out of his rookie year. And they got former pro bowl safety Michael Lewis.

Anyways, anybody see that Denver game. That last play was complete bullshit. I hate the donkies. I thought that time would run out, but hell no, those bitches have to ruin my dreams. Thanks to Elam, I couldn't talk smack to all my bronco fan friends.

in my fantasy league (nfl.com) he made 42 points, the most this week (so far) a good player in my league would have about 25+ and LT will do fine just he was against the best anti rush defense in that league plus he sat out the entire preseason last year and he was MVP, set the record for most TD's in a season (28), got 1815 yards, 5.2 avg yards per carry, 113.4 avg yards a game and is the #1 draft choice of almost everyone

Bold= Unproven opinions

Gore has had 1 and only one good season, while James has proven himself year in and year out. Smith hasnt proved anything, except that he can lead a sub-.500 team. Im not saying that Leinart hasnt proven anything better, but Smith cannot be seen as a better QB right now.

Let them prove it on the field, and maybe we can both agree-to-disagree.

LT will do fine this season, but his first game was terrible by his standards, still 2 touchdowns though (1 passing, 1 rushing). He did get off to a slow start last year, and then he played the 49ers and got 4 touchdowns and was unstoppable from then on. The Bears do not have the best run defense. Not even close. They played SUPER defense, but as of now, we can only judge there run D on last year, where it was only above average.

Dunno why you were surprised, the Packers D was vastly improved last year, and nothing really changed from then except the bonehead pick of Justin Harrol (because the Packers realllly need another defensive linemen). I was more surprised with how bad the offense was, trying to get in sync, and how good Mason Crosby looked.

The biggest things that stood out to me were:

A)Tony Romo looking AWESOME
B)How far above the rest of the league the Colts and Patriots looked
C)How good the Vikings looked, though I hate to say it.
