$3.19 a gallon sounds like heaven to me. Try living in europe where the gasoline is waaay more expensive.

... I don't know how things are where you live, but in Japan, trains and busses can take you from anyplace to anyplace you want to go, quickly and relatively cheaply.

True. Yeah I can get almost everywhere using public transport, but that's not cheap either. (Except that I now travel for free because I'm a student.)

People in Wisconsin are complaining constantly, our cigarette prices are the most expensive in the US I think, so people are buying tons of them from out of state companies....I don't see why that's such a problem

Don't forget that people buy them off the Reservations, too. Cigs are cheaper on the Rez because they don't have to follow the same tax laws as you Euro-centrics.
