I'd say that in 1000 years we'l still be plodding along as usual. Political structure will be hyper-states most likely, or possibly going the other way and descending into unstable and turbulent devolved groups based on bogus theories of race.

I think religion may well have had its day, possibly with the exception of Islam. Depends on the development of the area really. In fact, I'd be fairly surprised in Christianity in the west lasts longer than the days of my great grandchildren.

i did not read the rest of the topic but....i believe there will be no human civilization in 3001 because we will either blow our selfs up or just use up all of our resources. And then we will be controlled by Chinese and Japanese because they are the only major countries that do not rely on material economy.

Well not entirely, but i'm sure we can damage it alot with the weaponry we have nowadays. And i'm not sure we wouldn't do it, my faith in mankind is going down the drain quite quickly

I have foreseen a civil revoloution, around the 2060 mark. By this time, the final concretation (as in, the act of concreting(as in concrete(ref:building material))) of the world government will be taking place. By this time, there will have been no use for seperate, differing media outlets from the point of view of the overlord dictators, and every information portal will be strictly regulated...schools, t'internet etc.

There will have been some minor scuffles, that were carried out by "the thinking ones" (likely to be of superior genetic stock, such as myself), but these scuffles would have been easy for the dictators to deal with, as they were, for the large part disorganised. The dictators would have covered these events up, so as not to "alarm" all of the drone populace, that have quite happily whistled along to the overlords' tune for as long as they are kept fed and watered (bless their little inferior cotton socks).

However! A man by the name of 'Norsio norsius III' will incite a revoloution, after many years plotting against the dictators.

Alas! after the dictators have been overthrown and slaughtered, norsio norsius III gets drunk one night, and accidentally turns the entire worlds nuclear arson on itself, thinking he was suiciding troops on his doubles partner in a game of CC.
