If the New Jersey Devils are open, I will take them and Sensfan can have the New York Rangers (since he already missed out on his first choice).

Otherwise, I'm going to have to stick with the Rangers.

Spidey - I left some comments on your new proposed rules, but it seems you have already made up your mind. Are these set in stone? I don't care for the Overtime thing, but I guess I'll deal.

Are you still planning on doing a "Map Draft" with 1 map per team? (good idea!)

If not, I'll stick with Asia.

I just realized something. Assuming both managers decide to come back: if they were in the same division/conference and had the same home map; how are you going to decide who gets to keep their map?

If you are going to have a map draft it should follow one of these rules:

1) Order/Reverse Order of finish [higher playoff finish overrides regular season placement]. New owners would have to use method 2, as it some teams would suddenly be much more/less desirable toward the map draft.

2) Order of Response in this thread - first come, first serve

3) Random Order

As it stands right now, I probably will NOT be coming back.

However, if I somehow manage to survive the Eastern Conference playoffs - then either of these could come true:

A) I lose in the Stanley Cup Finals and feel that I got SO close - I must give it another shot.

B) I win in the Stanley Cup Finals and feel compelled to defend my title.

Of course, if I am lucky enough to win it all, I could also decide to retire as a champion (a la R. Borque).

I really hate flate rate...I think it adds more luck...Is there no way I could get it changed to No Card?

I'd quite like to play for a 2nd Season, with the same team, Spidey...It's a great league.
