I've never played Risk before, so its not a problem in any of these. I'm just trying a bunch of styles and maps to see what I'm good at. I noticed you have joined games with many different styles: quadruples, assassin, chained, no cards; you are also playing maps like Siege! Madness, Circus Maximus, which are all great; however, if your conquering experience comes from playing Risk, you may want to consider playing Classic with standard settings for a while. Once you've won a couple of games, you'll be better prepared to deal with any frustrations some people feel with new maps/styles.
