lock and merge... twill already gave the link where this is to be debated. you know you should do it wicked, just because you are on the side of the alleged majority doesn't mean you can shirk your duties as a mod... 2 new threads going on the same thing again, why don't you lock and merge them? this is getting annoying. nobody tried to SILENCE anyone. they simply told everyone where the original debate that they all seemed to miss had taken place, and where it continues to NOW take place. you should all go be constructive in the foundry instead of bitching in the GD...-0

This is a thread to get your name added to a petition. If you want to debate thread merges, you're in the wrong thread - follow your own rules. And if you want to be that anal about it, you should petition to get all the "THE DICE ARE NOT RANDOM!" threads merged into one thread. Join us in reality - we're all a little bit relaxed, it's nice...

why not make 2 maps (they both already exist) ... we have about 80 maps .... so why not offer classic AND classic revamp? it will screws nobody to have one map more and everybody can chose which one he wants to play.

That has been proposed many times but no one ever gives a reply to that question unless I missed it in the various thread merges. I just posted again an earlier post in the foundry where I made some suggestions which were ignored among which this one.

It's okay not to listen to any of the suggestion but at least I would like to get some feedback on them.

As has already been stated, make your suggestions in the map forum thread, as that's where we're looking, not here. That's why all the threads in this forum were locked earlier today, to try to focus the discussion in one place. However, I'm leaving this open as a courtesy so people have somewhere to vent. That way actual progressive discussion can happen in the other thread (hopefully!).

At this point, Lack is just trying to absorb in all the reactions and trying to come up with a suitable plan to answer everyone's needs.

Seul, I think the problem is, that the reason they changed the map was to accommodate Visually impaired users. So if we have 2 maps, independent of each other, those with colour-blindness will still be no better off.

As it has been said many times the new map does not help them anyway.

What has been proposed is a 'user script' perhaps, which allows those with sight problems to select another viewing option. (I suggested a bleached version a little like Middle East) that way everyone can play in the same games and see what they are doing.

DiM, you just don't GET IT... i mean, they were only warned about the changes and urged to go to the foundry months ago to offer input and criticism and suggestions. you can't expect all 63 of these people to take a few minutes out of their lives and peek into the changes... i only wish this had been launched on april fools day. that would have made this truly hilarious.-0

Again, I put a LYC there, not saying I won;t be back, just that it could have an impact...and maybe the pro-change are right, the more I play on the new map the less of an issue it will be, but right now it is an issue for me *shrug*
