umm...the view now that i have im my head of this map makes me think of seige...

anyone else think that,

p.s. dont inturpret this in a way that u think that i think that i dont want you to continue, coz i do - (if you understood any of that!)

p.p.s - if you understood that then youre quite capible of making this map! not that i ever doubted you, :)

this is a great concept but you won't be the only one developing a map with this game feature.

nb. a change to the army size for the sanctuary in the AoR:Magic map could make it playable. AoR:Might would be ready to go. just remove the resources on both. set hold sanctuary for 3 rounds and we are good to go.

yes it could be made as a siege map and the gameplay would fit nicely but since we have that i'm gonna make something different.

of course i won't be the only one. it would be absurd to force people not to create maps with this concept and even if i wanted i couldn't. :mrgreen:

talked to lack and it seems he can make it possible to start with objectives. that's great, that's exactly how i wanted it.

i'll try to put a draft tonight wit terits and perhaps some bonuses :mrgreen:

as i said i will try and make a rough draft tonight at work and post it so the discussion on balancing the gameplay can start.

i noticed earlier some suggestions were to do a playground but my thoughts immediately turned to Age of Realms. i think that game feature really suits a sword & sorcery feel. obtain the magical artefact, pull the sword from the stone, activate the spell/curse & hold it for the cycle of the moon to become king, overlord, immortal or bring peace to all the realms.

will you be releasing a line of novels to coincide with the launch of your maps. :D
