In books, rather than movies, I fondly remember The Game of X by Robert Sheckley.

Top Secret was the first one that came to mind.

He is dead. It seems your friend forgot we use 220 volts in europe. It took the coroner four hours to get the smile off his face.

Are you the first one to mention this one, I just PVRed it this summer hadn't enjoyed it for quite some time, too funny!
