Don't worry. After my Mongol map is done I've got a draft version of a Roman Empire map to see if I can tackle the previously impossible map...

I was really interested for a moment there but seriously - someone should make this map. It looks like it has potential. Also, we already have Alexander's Empire which wasn't half as good.

I am actually working on a Roman Empire map as well intending to focus on it more once I finish the Malta map. However I intend to make more that one map about the Roman Empire as I have a lot of ideas in my mind on how to glorify the longest lasting empire of all time!

Yes...there seems to be a couple of versions in development but not yet put forward....is this the devil in disguise 666?

Cool. I like the map in this thread a lot, but would like it even more if it used the Latin names for the countries (Gallia instead of Gaul, for example.)

Regarding this issue, I made a map of the Roman Empire about two months ago that used the original Latin names, and also had gameplay that was a little closer to most other boards. I don't have the tech skills to match the graphics of the boards coming out now though, so maybe we could combine the three boards currently in production?
