Get armed and store food. Learn how to hunt, and farm. Learn how to kill... it may be necessary. Thats all the advice I have for you.
I was with you until you started ranting about going into survival mode. Dude, even if every state goes through a depression it's not the end of the world. People did survive through the 1930s you know  It's not like civilization just stopped.
lol... those people were far better people than the people of today. They were not a generation of self entitled do nothings. There were also far less of them... so they were more able to survive. This is going to be far worse than the Great depression... this is going to be a Greater Depression.
wake up. This is the end game.

Looking back on non-existent better times full of salt-of-the-earth types is delusional. They were like us except there was no internet or cable (so basically us except spending more time outside).

Please, crazy, take your own advice. Those of us that stay in the cities would appreciate the crazies leaving soon.

I am moving in July... I have already put my plans into motion. Stock piling ammo, and seeds. I am selling my house, and buying gold with some of the cash from that. I'll be ready. We will ride the false reprise for a short while... then... hunker down in the hills.

If his neighbors don't push him out first.

See, there aren't too many areas left open for the takings... And your neighbors might be listening to some different paranoid websites or some that aren't quite so paranoid.

... I personally don't believe times are going to become quite that hard, though we may see riots at some point in major cities.

... The largest problem is, imo, the ignornace of the average American coupled with a serious lack of interest. Americans know much more about their favorite television dramas and sports teams than they do the workings of their own government.

... And our government likes it that way.

... I have guns. If times get so bad we begin fighting for food, my family will eat.

... But if we even begin to approach that stage, I'm outta' here.

I can sympathize with that. You're probably welcome up north when you get outta there. Just remember to leave your guns at the border. Once you cross over, you won't need them, and we don't let mental patients own firearms. That was a joke. please don't shoot me.

good luck to you. I hope you make it out. The thing that I find hard to understand is why people refuse to even consider that mass riots, governmnet tyrany, plunging economy and what ever else are coming our way. 8 years ago, we suffered the 9-11 attacks. No one could have concieved that prior to it. It was that day that caused me to buy my first gun... I have several now. The market crash last year should have been a wake up call for everyone... most still sleep. California is on the verge of bankruptcy, GM and the banks are all but nationalized... The radical left is mad with power... that the dollar will be a thing of the past by year's end... these are the most uncertain times in America's 230 years. Yes, so many people mock, and refuse to see the writing on the wall.

You all tend to forget that it was market deregulation and republican free market philosophy that got us here (and yes that includes the fake democrat Clinton).

... That's a matter of opinion you state as fact, though I cannot prove your opinion false.

... There's the entire Carter - Clinton, "Banks MUST loan to certain groups" argument that purports it was in fact government intervention that brought this upon us.

... Then banks figured out how to package bad loans as securities for massive profit, unregulated (your point), that drove the final nail home.
