I have a commodore 64 with my tv screen as my monitor. I'm running firefox 0.001 and I have no problem with clickable maps.

Besides when I used my grandparents computer which is 5 years old and runs off of DSL, firefox and clickable maps both worked, a little slow but still worked. No reason to complain about not having them when you don't want to take to opportunity to use them. Your fault not ours, so deal with your faults and let us prevail and live in peace for taking what was handed to us!

this is a mod which should be banned on here unless every1 has it. check my debate on this if u wanna slate me aswell but all i say is using it against non clicks is an unfair advantage and just saying "urrr dont play freestyle then" is just a cheats answer. why shouldnt we all be able to play evenly on all games.

If you decline the offer for a free gun, why complain that your opponent is using one in a fight?

Seriously, firefox is free, greaseymokey is free, clickies are free, and if you can run internet explorer, you can run firefox. There is absolutely no excuse for people to complain that someone else is using it against them. If you choose to play without them, that is your choice, so stop complaining to other people.

The real problem is that not only newb's, but the great masses who dont frequent the forums have no idea about plug ins.
Detootereg probably chooses not to use them, but it really is an unfair advantage against a player who knows nothing about them.

You don't need to visit the forums to learn about clickies. Unlike BOB, which does little to your gameplay (seeing as in most games you have the first four and a half minutes to count the troops yourself), clickies are very noticeable. I think it is not that hard to tell when half of the people in the game begin turn the moment the round ends, along with other displays of speed.

If a person looks at the log during a speed game with clickies users, they will notice that the other people have something they don't. Or they are really thick and think that you can reload, press begin turn, select a territory, select another territory, click auto attack, then advance in one second.

oh no i have a gun but the other guy had a machine gun lol.......my gun is my brain his was just bought from wallmart.

i consider scripting on games a cheat and wont use on principle, i am not ignorant of their existence but just dont agree with it. if it was hard scripted into game and every1 used it no problem but it is plainly being abused by some people just to farm the uninformed and steal points.

it is not a coincidence that most of the high rankers use clickies it is why they have high rank. no skill involved just a fixed speed race to the winning post.

i just wish to play freestyle on a level par but do not wish to cheat..............

Go to the game finder and search my speed freestyle games, with the exclusion of assassin games (I played several hundred doodle assassins to get the gold assassin medal). Take a good look at my opponents. 99% or more (just estimating) are high ranks, and an equal amount use clickies, and most of the people you see below major are majors and colonels who have de-ranked, with the exception of a few games.

I do not farm random people who don't use clickies and just beat them on speed. Yes, I use clickies, but that is not the reason for my rank, however, I get a lot better experience form these games than you. While you complain that people are using clickies against you, I play against the people who use clickies with clickies and actually have a good time with these games, unlike you.

What would be the point of not using them? To make it so that the 1% of people I play without clickies get to play with 5 clicky users in the 8 man escalating rather than 6?

Just use clickies, and if you see someone without them, inform them of the script and turn them off for the match. If your problem is not wanting to beat people on speed, you can choose for yourself not to do that.

Horribly wrong. Many of the HIGHEST ranked people use them against people without them to get their rank, but not true for many high ranks. If you quickly look through the first page on the scoreboard players profiles and check the games they play, you will see that most play either team games, sequential escalating games or a combination of both. Very few actually play freestyle speed that often.

If you want to play on a level par, why put yourself on a disadvantage? Use clickies against clickies and drop downs against drop downs. Secondly, a public script made by a mod on the site and approved by the owner is not a cheat.

well, since you asked so nicely, i'll tell you...

i recently added clickies since so many peers said they love it, not as a cheat, not even as an advantage... but because it's convenient... you see, when playing sequential standard games, it just doesn't matter if you're fast, and i might add that i am certainly NOT fast, with or without clickies... but i have found it to be far more convenient that using the drop down menu...

And i discovered BOB last year, and although it makes life easier, it doesn't give me anything i didn't have before... yes, it's true, before Bob i actually counted all the armies on the board, and i kept track of the card counts too... although, now, the card count is revealed for all, Bob or no Bob...

So there you have it...

The irony of it all, is that my scoreboard position was much higher before i used these "enhancements"... do they allow me to put less thought into the game?... or is it that my advantage has been diminished because everybody know has the same info?
