I don't agree. I just read through some past threads and whatnot and there are roles like masons and cops who have a sheriff and doctors who can all talk to each other. Why do we think she is mafia rather than one of a set of two or three cops? 'Cause if we kill her and she is then the mafia know who to night kill (the other one) . Then wouldn't we lose two cops or doctors? Or is this not a correct assumption?

If two people can talk in private it's a pretty safe assumption that they are scum. We have not had strong evidence that dazer and violet can do this though. As has been mentioned she could have just been warned by a friend.

However, i still think that overall dazer is our best bet so far. Sure you can explain away all the scum tells, but you can always do that, it's mafia, you're never going to be 100% sure of anything, especially on day 1.

Furthermore, I'm sorry that she has RL issues, but the fact is that she obviously has read only a very small percent of this thread, this is why she doesn't even know why she's being accused and hasn't even tried to put up a semblance of a defence.
So worst case scenario we lynch a townie who isn't contributing anything.

Commander, one thing I'd like to point out because it's potentially confusing: you shouldn't mix mafia with other stuff. You say you're her clanmate, but that doesn't mean you should defend her because of it. I'll be the first to lynch Flores if I think she's scum, even though it might have RL consequences

I looked into. I don't know about RL or not. But dating back to July of this year they have played 49 games of risk together.

That supports the misguided friend that defended someone who came under suspicion and got caught in the cross fire theory. Still there is that link between them and Daze was able to get on and post fairly quickly for someone who was warned by a friend rather than seeing the post herself and responding. So at this point I still think that Daze is still our best lynch for both previous implications of scummarining and a possible link to a scum buddy.

To note: There's also the possibility that Daze could be scum and Vio is a misinformed townie trying to defend a friend, just to keep that in mind.

PS: I just found out the reason I've been so out of it. I thought the prescription of cough syrup I had said 1 TBSP every 6 hours but it's actually one Teaspoon every 6 hours. :S

Seriously in real life- I’m going through some major legal battles, and I just had a major exam I was studying for last week.

Not to get into all that- but seriously this game was last on my list of priorities.

sweetheart, maybe this is not the right time in your life to be losing your precious time playing mafia, most of us had to wake up and smell the coffee at some point or another and ask to be replaced in a game because we had more serious affairs to attend, just be honest to yourself and put in order your priorities, if you cant play this game, you can always catch the next one, mafia is so much more rewarding if you actually have a bit of time to devote it.

She definitely has problems in real life (you can ask any person in the FOED clan), so please at least stop flaming if you do not know about the situation the other person is in. as sweet as it is worry for the problems that your friend have IRL, we cant base our "in game" judgement based on her real life circunstances, we can only base our discern based on her "In game" attitude, activity or lack of it, because this is a "game", is not by any means a support group, i dont intend to be mean, and if i come across as such, my apologies, but i dont think that mix real life and games fictions will do any good to anyone. First of all, let me reiterate what I've said (since English is my 3rd language, I can understand that I you might not always understand me). I'm not defending Daze and for all I know she can one of the mafia. What I did is I have confirmed that she does have a lot of really serious real life problems and I just wanted to let people know that she's not lying. It's really hard to see a person you know being attacked and called a liar for all the wrong reasons. I can understand her being lynched, but not because people would say that she's a liar.

Guys, first of all, I think it would be best (with everyone's approval) to replace Daze (if she doesn't mind) as she definitely do not need any extra threat.

As for lynching, here's a thought - do you really think that scum would be posting in annoying colours and thus attracting attention to them or would they be lying underneath it and try to go unnoticed? Furthermore, look at the number of inactives we have and even if they're not scum, it would be a good idea to get rid of them if they're not participating.

Well, while "playing" in a manner the attracts attention to oneself, such as posting in difficult to read colors, in no way means that that person is scum, it also cannot be used to say they are not scum. It seemed pretty clear that the attention and ire raised by these posts was not intentional. If it was thought that daze wanted to attract attention by these antics then the only role that it could be evidence for would be jester, or someone wanting to be seen as a jester.

Anyway, saying that how much negative attention daze drew is a sign that she wouldn't be scum is bad logic at best. She could have had any role and made the same series of mistakes. Defending someone with flawed logic such as this just makes the both of you look like scum mates...

It actually has a high relevance with the game. It shows that Vio and Daze are friends and it;s reasonable to think that one would inform the other of the other being called inactive. I don't feel that Vio and Daze are necessarily scum if the other is, but I do find it suspicious that Daze isn't answering questions.
