I'm sorry, but we have different perspectives, you see, I do understand the terminology. When you are able to quantify the sum of inputs and outputs a system is closed. Do I need to get out my engineering books?

Here's a helpful hint for science: the physical nature of a system doesn't depend on whether sabotage is capable of writing an equation to describe it.
