But, on a serious note I'll answer that question.

Technically, it's defined as a unit of culture that is transmitted in someway.

E.g. All the Leonidas photoshops that spawned as a result of 300 are memes.

But, in this sense and internet meme means some words/pictures/flash files/shock sites/whatever really that spreads all around the internet pretty much like a fad.

On a side note, it seems to me that in this game it will be quite difficult to ascertain who's got the malicious roles. This confusion of mass post restrictions masks the tells and motives quite easily; not to mention that it seems several are unnaturally compelled to vote in each and every post. I propose that we return to our original idea to locate said mafia by weeding out the false post restrictions, as so far several do not seem consistent, then hopefully our path will be shown to us a bit more clearly. Indeed conventional wisdom would state that whoever isn't following the correct mod dictum in each post would be the best target for a lynch, starting there and working retroactively through the list may show us some things we've missed.
