Last round 1 to 2 transition there were five people still playing in round one that had a chance to move to round 2. Two of them had legitimate chances. The two that did advance were given plenty of time to join games in round 2 when they did advance.Tviorr wrote:One question. Not sure if someone has already brought it up, but if so I missed it: Will you consider pushing a round off to an early start, for instance round 3.- That is start a few maps and games out early even before the final games of the previous round are finished? Or will that make for too much trouble with some people joining round 3 games, expecting to get through, then not actually getting that crucial win in round 2, when the chips are counted?

With so many games going on still over last weekend and myself working so much this week this won't be out until one of the next few nights when I have some time--sorryRodion wrote:Curious about the 2-0 and 6-0 clubs!

Hello! I think it would be interesting to know the number of players alive in each round in the tournament. something like:HighlanderAttack wrote:what kind of statistics are you looking for?
Code: Select all
Round Players Eliminated Remaining
01 3123 203 2920
02 2920 118 2802
03 2802 203 2599round 2 is finishing up--after the round is over I will do stats for the tourneyTimeKiller[SRB] wrote:I'm in 1/1 club.. one round, one game, one win. there is no a list of such players?
Sorry if I am asking too much, I know you have a lot of work... but I try to reduce your work with that style of play
Glad to here because the way you wrote it --I assumed it was just one game.TimeKiller[SRB] wrote:I know .. in each round I play one game, and have one win per round ..
It's a wonder your computer doesn't seize up....HighlanderAttack wrote:Stats:
2507 players are in this tourney
3495 games were played in round one
I did start a stats section on the bottom of the first post. The above information is listed. At the time round one was still going on. I have not had or made the time to update any additional stats, but I will do so as the tourney moves forward.
Did you just want to take overTviorr wrote:Ive been crackling with enough anticipation to do odds on the remaining gamesOr Im just a little bored and dont want to tidy up, do the dishes, feed the dog or let the kids out of the small cage.
8611687 Matchpoint advantage to adam666 estimated 80%+ win chance in 1-3 rounds. - Its possible that someone should warn hawki019 that its not a viable strategy to beg your opponent to throw the game. That could have been a joke, of course
8550770 Undecided mainly due to escalating at 30 troops. Large advantage to pilot16 apart from that. May take a few rounds and the tables could still feasibly be turned.
8550555 Undecided. Matchpoint Marduk 70%+ may take a few rounds.
9550541 Samboshi to win. 60%+ that its over on his next turn.
8550540 Undecided.
8550527 Undecided.- Fogged and escalating at 30. Seemingly advantage to Melted Eskimo. Could be a decisive advantage, but hard to say.
8548377 Undecided. Small advantage LSU Tiger.
8533351 Fogged and escalating at 12 units, but Cidhatez (sorry probably misspelled, cant read my own writing) is seemingly likely to close it in a some rounds.
8531727 lazywonko to win. 75%+ that its over this turn.
8530797 jr1298 to win. 90%+ that it happens next turn.
