I study fitness health and exercise and have the Teenage Scottish Bodybuilding Champion in my class, so I naturally have an interest in that sort of thing. Not on women I hasten to add, It just looks gross.
I knew what it was going to be, but I still clicked - I only have myself to blame for the subsequent shudder! 8-[

A superb effort from Liverpool but in the end they just couldn't make it. Fulham have their work cut out in the final. Now then, there's a good film on 5... :D

That's a shocking thing to say, after all he has done for Liverpool.... like taking them to Champions League glory. That's like saying Arsene Wenger should go. Wenger single-handedly transformed Arsenal into the fourth-richest club in the world and one of the world's footballing masters. Sure he hasn't won anything for four years... but that's no reason to fire him. Rafa, like Arsene, is a truly great manager who is having a rough time of it.

Not really that shocking, all my mates who are liverpool fans say he should go if he wins nothing.Atleast Wenger has got Arsenal into champions league football next season and he has a maturing squad where Rafa just wastes money in the transfer market and since the club is up for sale i dont know if he can even sign any new players

Ok those are fair points, maybe us gooners are more patient and understanding than you reds, but why don't you give him a chance for next season? On the other hand, some fresh blood, fresh ideas, a fresh era for Liverpool Football Club could be in order. We shall see. ;)

Firstly im not a liverpool fan (Man Utd Till i Die) Secondly Liverpool have spent so much in the transfer market over the years and have only the champions league title to show for it.they havent won the league since 1990 and i think thats what most fans want is for them to be challenging for the league title not some crappy europa league title.

Next season i feel arsenal will win something they came close this season and if van persie wasnt injured they would be for sure still in the title race.

My bad.

If Arsenal can hold on to all their players, keep them fit, and bring in one or two good players, we should get something. Your point is excellent, the league is the big prize.

I agree - I went to Barcelona v Arsenal and taking away the fact that Messi was awesome, Arsenal were clearly missing a decent striker. Bendtner is just not good enough yet. Van Persie is a great player though.

Bendtner is getting there. Slowly, but he's getting there. He's got to be aiming for at least 20 goals in total next season. We definately need to get a few new faces in.

Bendtner is a good striker if he has another strike partner but most times he is played up front on his own which hinders him gettin more goals.Arsenal need to get a better goalkeeper than almunia as he has made some very big screwups

Yes Almunia has made some screwups, but has also had some blinding performances and we would of lost some games if it wasn't for him. Nevertheless, I believe he is on his way out.

Personally I hope Rafa stays at Liverpoo for ever, he's doing nearly as well as Souness did at making them worse every season! :D

He doesn't play up front on his own- he's usually part of a front three with arshavin/walcott/rosicky/eduardo. He's progressed this season but not as fast as we needed, and I'm not really sure what to make of him. With RVP fit and Chamakh arriving I don't know if he has a future at arsenal. Doesn't seem the type to be happy on the bench.

We do need a new keeper though- it's pretty clear almunia's not top class. Wenger's dropped a couple of hints that we might actually buy one this summer too...

i guess your right about bendtner but all your squad needs to progress to win anything.Wenger has even started to pick fabanski in a few games cause he think so little of almunia so a new keeper should be coming to arsenal in the summer.

If by thinking "so little of almunia" you mean "because almunia was injured" then yes you are correct :P

I don't think Wenger's lost faith in him to that extent, but if the likes of lloris are available he'll make a move. Personally I'd be very happy with a quality new keeper, a centre back, chamakh and cesc staying.

well done to Fulham, a great result to reach their first European final. Hamburg must be gutted as the final is at their home stadium, Doh!

I was flicking between both games, but couldn't be arsed to watch the extra-time of Liverpool as Celebrity Juice was on and that is unmissable. Potatoe.

I started flicking, but as soon as Fulham went a goal down I stayed with them - knew it would turn into a cracker!

Sorry JB I can't agree at all with your defense of Rafa; when he took them to CL glory it was with a team he'd largely inherited, note how they've achieved precisely nothing since then.
Admittedly they did very well last season, pushing United all the way in the league but you've gotta say last year was the exception rather than the rule!
I can't believe you're comparing Rafa to Wenger?! Wenger is universally acclaimed as a great coach (and canny market-place operator) whose team plays the best football around. That they've won nothing for a good few years must be disappointing but everyone agrees that he's the best man for the job. Rafa on the other hand has made countless terrible signings (both in and out), has a team that mostly plays a dull game, over-reliant as it is on Gerrard and Torres and, most damningly, has failed to even keep Liverpoo in the big 4!
Arsene IS a great manager, Rafa's a bit shit! :D

It'd take a miracle for Liverpoo to beat Chelski mate! I'll be amazed if they even look like they're trying! Yeah it'd be great but I really can't see it... Hope I'm wrong! [-o<

Hey Daz, only just noticed but Shitty have a very big week ahead, Villa on Sat and Spurs on Wed... Ok you're at home for both of 'em but ooooohhhh it's an important couple o' games!
I'd like to see Spurs in 4th personally, but kind of offer you a smidgen of support 'cos despite everything else you're still manchester boys...
