Yes I get that this is a faction game. And I see what you're saying about teaming up w/ the strongest faction not helping. However, just because the English lost one person, I'm not so sure that the other force (presumably the French) are that much stronger, unless edocsil made each faction w/ the exact same roles. If he didn't, then there are too many variables to assume that because the English are down one person that they are weaker. Its why I also assume that leaving a Muslim alive, while not knowing his abilities, or whether there are any other Muslims left, isn't a good idea. For all I know the Muslims could have a bulletproof character left, or a vig. After all, it just says that Vic was Saladin and Jace was 2nd in command, but not their abilities.Haggis wrote:This isn't town vs. scum, this is a faction game. In a faction game it doesn't make sense to team up with the guy stronger than you so you can finish of your last potential ally. And no one has been able to refute this simple fact.
Instead you guys stick your fingers in your ears and go "LA LA LA, YOU'RE NOT ON MY FACTION SO IT'S OBVIOUSLY BEST TO KILL YOU LA LA LA" ...
So was Vic a PGO, or did he just happen to target Richard the Lionheart? And I'm assuming Jace would have inherited Vic's abilities had he not been lynched, but there had to be something besides that.edocsil wrote:The Sultan reacted quickly throwing a dagger through the soldiers eye and into his brain, killing him instantly.
Hmm, perhaps you are of that third faction (or maybe even something else) that would benefit from that?TA1LGUNN3R wrote:Yes I get that this is a faction game. He claimed something I myself didn't know about, while saying that I won't know about it until a certain time in the near future, and did so as to cast more suspicion on my character than I already had (no lynch anyone?VioIet wrote:TA1LGUNN3R wrote:

Wait, you say you find sax suspicious. Sax was the one who saved your life when you were about to be lynched, telling everyone that you were pro-town, defending you, etc. He continues to speak well about you now on Day 2. What do you find suspicious about him?

Wait, if he was a lover shouldn't Saladin's daughter have died as well?edocsil wrote:Scene
During the night Philip of Cognac, the bastard son of Richerd the Lionheart made his final preparations to join his lover, the beautiful daughter of the late Saladin. As he snuck to the edge of the English army he was confronted by his father. Already knowing his illegitimate son's intention to leave the army Richard ran Philip through without a word. Only after his son's blood began to cool on the ground did he speak. "Death and dishonor to all traitors, leave his body for the crows."
Fircoal (Philip of Cognac, Lover) has been killed!
The English army is at Jerusalem's gates, the last refuge of the demoralized Islamic army. One way or another, this crusade will end soon.
D3 has begun!
Usually the other Lover doesn't die until the night phase after first lover died.Haggis_McMutton wrote:Wait, if he was a lover shouldn't Saladin's daughter have died as well?

Nax, you have any luck tonight?.
Not really. Some sort of JoaT or limited SK or something perhaps. He's dead so it doesn't matter any more, just got to hope that Edoc reveals all roles and such at the end of the game to satisfy our curiosity.Haggis_McMutton wrote:Also, does anybody have a clue what the role "mercenary" is.
I was thinking that but I decided to wait a bit for the results of any actions first.aage wrote:I say we lynch another Islamic dude.
Vote Haggis (nope, no surprises there)
