Very nice, my friend... I have never heard of said architectural style.

Style may be the wrong word here, but there is a thing in architecture called a "hip" or "hip joint." Hipping is to hip as roofing is to roof.

So, has cola totally abandoned the site? Unlike when he was totally submarining in sherwood and hoping that no one would try and lynch him, I haven't seen him posting elsewhere recently.

That's what I'm thinking. I say eliminate him and get the game moving again.

Labour as spelt in Oxford English Dictionary as well as my random house webster's collegiate dictionary.

In order for this to work, I think we have to consider only formal English words, which means no slangs, colloquialisms, medical terms or other jargon, etc., unless they have become a part of formal English through continuous usage.
.
Personally I read this to mean if it's listed as a formal word in the the dictionary then it can be used regardless of the side of the pond it is. Of course this could backfire when it's a word that americans don't know that the british do.

My case.
Beyond this, I will abstain from this discussion, since the resolution of it directly affects me; I leave it to the rest of you to adjudicate.

I'm going to side with Josh on this one. It is an English word, even if not American. 2 people separated by a common language...
Can we use names as words here?

In the case of the labour political party, yes, it's in the OED.

It depends on if you're in America or not. I'm going with Josh. It's an English word.
